Major Update "Firebirds" - Rumor Round-Up & Discussion (Part 3)

This, I just want to see some Caproni planes while US and SU TTs are getting top tier jets from their conveyor.

I believe I’ve said this before, but if a nation doesn’t have a top-tier addition that fits now

Go older WW2 and the early Cold War has options(and a lot of them), and at worse a C&P will do, even more so if they were essential/a back bone during their time, like the UK’s M4A4s.

Its unironically one of the few times we could see a Canadian Aircraft in-game (yes I know the F-18 is American but you get what I mean), because if not, then we’d have to wait for the CF-100 series of jets (Mega copium for CF-105 Avro Arrow) (CF-100s were already passed for consideration if I recall)

Yeah… I dont often play lower stuff, so still want to see higher stuff, but you dont even need to go that old, things like the Hawk, Arrow, more hunter Variants, Sea Vixen, etc. Would all be really good

Yeah tbh I find the Skink would’ve been perfectly fine at 4.7, as Britain does (or used to, I haven’t been keeping track) have a 4.7 lineup, so the Skink going from 4.7 all the way to 5.3 was pointless and just appeals to the CAS players crying "I can’t open the ARMOURED SPAA, Gaijin please nerf :( "

There is that as well. But its more the fact we got 2x SPAA within about a month of each other, for the same BR and what? a year on? there is still a gap between 5.3 and 8.3

Its just insane to me that we have 2x 5.3s and 3x 8.3s but not a single SPAA for 6-7

rather have australian f18 for US as it presents a more unique armament option and at least the CF-18 was made in canada partially, the australian f18 are US made

I know it would be really niche, but for some reason I really want that for Sim

I mean if we follow a modification is unique by gaijin rule, then I can totally see the CF-18 being in Britain since most of Australian and Canadian unique things has came to Britain unlike the AIM.

i mean it isnt really unique, but i think they will put it in britian

and the main reason f111c went to UK instead of US is bc UK players wanted an f111 because their never built 111k couldnt come to game, even though UK has tornadoes which fill similar role, at same BR

As it stands right now the CF-188(IMP I most likely) is the one chance we have for a TT Canadian aircraft, without getting a dedicated home.

As anywhere else someone else has a plane that fits where ours could have been. (Aussies with the Super Hornets, UK with the Eurofighter(and other aircraft), ZA and India’s planes)

I mean that why people are splitting hair over it since the US doesn’t really needed the C especially not now since the US got a squadron attacker

well the tornado is better and at a lower br in ground

imma be honest the f117 had no other good place to go, ppl wouldve gotten mad if it was a prem or event, so i dont think it should really be considered much when talking about US sqv bc after its initial popularity it might as well not be there, basically just a feature test and hype building additon

exactly, have a better option already, and the F-111C couldve been a good platform for the US to get its popeyes (some later developments were designed by US and israel and manufactured in USA) and some different weapons than on a USAF F-111F

F-111 Aardvark
well i found this image like 3-4 days ago

yep, agm142e and harpoons as well as the typical dumb bombs

more India vehicle

I wouldn’t rule out the opposite option - the GJ thus legalized the Aussie jet aircraft in the British ТТ of neither British nor Australian construction.
If the Typhoon doesn’t show up soon, then an Australian or Canadian F-18 would be a viable option, as the Gripen can no longer keep up.

Spoiler

Seriously, 4 amraams/darters are not funny at all compared to 8 of the main competitors on BR. It can still stand up for itself, but it has weapons for literally attacking one target and it will be forced to leave the battlefield. It is hampered quite a bit by the inability to change the wingtip missiles, unlike other light aircraft.
The 39E eliminates both the missiles and the dynamics problems, but it is a solution to a Swedish problem, not a British or Italian one. Their solution to the same problem is called the Typhoon.

No.
