Personally I don’t think an HMS adds a big improvement, and allows it to go up br. Especially since the plane doesn’t have a Fox 1 or Fox 3 and it’s not even a fighter.
Yeah. 12.3 would have been fairly rough for it, let alone 12.7. A load of other buffs including HMS, I could see it being worth while, but if the only differences are HMS and IR PGMs. Definetly looks like the RMV is getting kinda screwed.

Yeah, im the same for the Tornado Gr4. In Sim, its essentailly got a 12.7 BR, gunna be rough at times. At least the max it can see is either 12.7 or 13.0 in Sim, so should mitigate the full uptiers a little, but not looking forward to evading ICEs 50% of the time.
We were promised a thread about bomber BRs / economy balance ages ago, but it never appeared. I think most strike aircraft above 11.0 could be lowered 0.3 BR and it wouldnt harm anything

People putting the M2K at 12.3 and calling it fair is hilarious. Just because it doesn’t have 8 missiles and/or radar missiles doesn’t mean it isn’t a top end gen4 airframe firing IRCCM missiles at phantoms and mig-23s in downtiers

12.3 is for Arcade it’s 12.7 for real and sim which has a better chance of a up-teir

It has 2x short range IRCCM missiles. The Magic II. Which are defeated by 1 tap flares unless fired within about 1-1.5km in rear aspect. If you’ve let any aircraft get into that firing position, then it doesnt matter if its a Harrier, a M2K or a Mig-29. You are gunna die.
Ground attack variants of the M2K like the R1 and RMV are good, likely going to be a lot better than the Tornado Gr4. But they are going to be rather handicapped vs anything equipped for A2A combat.
The RMV only gains HMS over the R1 as far as I am aware. That is a tiny buff and probably not quite enough to justify 12.7 which puts it equal to the F-16A and Mig-29 and will likely find itself uptiered to 13.7 matches more often than not.
ah I see well tell them to put a mig-29 or F-16 at 12.3 and get constant down-teirs and see how fun it is

Very easy to get there in a M2K.
Unless its fighting F-15C firing off AMRAAM, Magic IIs arent going to do much there. Might as well give it 2x MICA IR and bump it up to 13.0-13.3 instead
Also, M2K C-S4/5 are 12.3 with 2x Magic II and 2x 530s. Along with the R1. I dont see why the RMV is such a problem or what about it has such signfiicant upgrades that justify 12.7. Also its not exactly like ARB is a mutli-vehicle gamemode. Its not going to suddely give the French another aircraft they can bring to an ARB match or something

Not really anything special. It’s the same as the other Paveway III series bombs, like the GBU-24, except it trades the explosive payload for an AP effect, so a worse GBU-24 but not like the F-117 has a choice.
The bomb is has IOG, making it more energy efficient and allows it to be used from low altitude as well… Though on the dev they removed the IOG on the GBU-24, so idk what’s going on… The bomb literally lost its signature ability to be used from low level (hence it was called the LLLGB, Low Level Laser Guided Bomb). Maybe they will be reworking it, but in the meantime reported the missing IOG and also have another report out for laser acquisition range, so hopefully those will still be looked at.

Would be good if they gave the bunker busters some kind of damage multiplier vs bases, just enough to enable 2x bombs to kill a base.
Withheld it’s proper engines so “f15c will be main air superiority fighter” and added F-15I with the 229, basically going back on what they said and keeping the US F-15E worse than the F-15I

and they do that all the time. They withhold the GR1s proper engines for the sake of nerfing the GR1.
F-15C is already the strongest aircraft in game and now the F-15E/F-15I are even stronger. Defo should be moved to 14.0
