Withheld it’s proper engines so “f15c will be main air superiority fighter” and added F-15I with the 229, basically going back on what they said and keeping the US F-15E worse than the F-15I

and they do that all the time. They withhold the GR1s proper engines for the sake of nerfing the GR1.
F-15C is already the strongest aircraft in game and now the F-15E/F-15I are even stronger. Defo should be moved to 14.0

That’s one of my guesses as well, alternatively maybe I thought it will find an unique use/advantage in the SEAD mode if that does end up existing (like with special bases that are otherwise very hard to take out with normal bombs or something).
Yeah, hardened target mechanics would be interesting. Just not enough value in GBUs to ever really run them in ARB/ASB at the moment.
High value target bunker would be so cool, maybe if they made a gamemode where drones were viable we could have VIP obliteration objectives

I don’t want to say less, US got plenty of things in the past updates as well and the F-15E is not nothing either. Though I am a little concerned that US will not receive any of the dual mode GPS+SALH bombs… until probably much later, feels like the Paveway introduction all over again when it took quite a while for US to get their own bombs.

I did make a suggestion for a sim objective that was to hunt down a HVT (High Value Target). The idea was that it would be a jeep that would travel the map, you would be given the grid coordinates but unlike the convoys, wouldnt have a marker on the map.
So you would have to locate this single jeep moving at moderate speeds and then destroy it.
But the suggestion got rejected. Might work on it again at some point, but with far more detail than I put into it originally.

In fairness with those. The argument could be made that this is Britain getting the GPS bombs it missed out on last update, but we only used the dual-mode type
UK got HMS repulse, super hind, osa-ak, gr4, and ram, as well as scimitar.
US got F-15E (my favorite multirole) and F-117 (not that useful but still a cool plane), as well as skink and t77

I am actually still so sad about the state of the F-111C, I thought they would at least fix it this update… though luckily the next major after this one isn’t too far out.
It did, though not overly the most valuable addition for it. Carrying any A2G loadout on it is quite a cost, so in ASB it wasnt worth it and in GRB, probably better off using the AGM-65s. The GBU-39s its getting this update though have greater pylon value.
But things like the ePaveways from the Harrier Gr7 were definetly missing last update. and fingers crossed Gunjob got the bug report in in-time for them to be added before the update drops. Far greater value on that

But still people are complaining about this update not the last one, and this update Britain got a ton of stuff
Its now a British aircraft. Gotta wait the required 6 months before they can start looking at bug reports.
But yeah, i’ve not bothered grinding it yet. I dont really see the point, just a straight downgrade over the Tornado Gr1 for the most part. Was messing around on the dev server with it and I see the value for it in the future, but not with so many bug reports pending
