I mean 2 subtrees, competetive top tier planes. Fleshed out TT to make lineups at every bracket. Multiple vehicles being added every update. Not even USSR being treated that good as UK lately.

Japan and China have an entirely different set of SPGs available too them and they do not directly compare to the UK. The UK has more options possible for the future. Once again, the M109 was not “instead of” something else.
Any actual threat that isn’t just a gepard with the aim of Zeus would be nice.
But I do beleive the latest word on Phimat being added to the Tornado F3 wasnt “no” but rather “we are too busy working on other stuff so maybe in the future when we get a chance”.
If thats the case, then its a real shame the Tornado F3 is left essentially without effective chaff at top tier, because the devs are “busy working on other stuff”

The Gepards are fine, you get RWR pings from them. Its the SIDAM-25s that snipe you from 5km away with no warning is the problem
Maybe I phrased that wrong, I was more referring to the historical presance (In British service it participated in one major operation, desert storm, and most of its service life was overshadowed by Abbot), I’m happy with pretty much any addition in game.
I’ve had the gepard smite me without a ping. But yes, Sidam is worse.
Phimat was only recently added to the Jaguars, the aircraft that it was originally and most frequently requested on.
Indeed at the current moment in time when it was asked, we are slap bang in the centre of a heavy major update period and just come through a dev server. So naturally the focus for the devs is on the many current and existing tasks at hand.
The Tornado F.3 is not without its primary countermeasures. Phimat was an additional suggested option for it.

and I never said it was, it just leave a bad taste in peoples mouths when we are getting foreign options before domestic ones

BOL are ahistroically modeled to have 1/4 their IRL performance (maybe even more than that for “flares”), instead of having 320 BOL CMs the F3 (and FA2) essentially has more like 60-80 due to the amount you need to drop compared to everyone else. This eliminates a major advantage that the F3 would ordinarily have over its contempories in exchange for their other limitations. Bug reports for Both flares and chaff for BOL were submitted a year ago
Whilst Britain isnt alone in being affected by poor BOL performance, the Viggen D, Gripen A/C and F-14B are also affected. Nearly all of Britains rank 8 aircraft are affected by this nerf. Heck, the only one without, the Tornado Gr1, is technically missing BOL.
Id be fine with all their current BR placements with fixed BOL, but in its current state, the F3 Late, FA2 and Gr7 are all potentially 0.3-0.7 BR too high and the GR1 might be appropraiately placed at 11.7 if it recieved them. GR4 if it doesnt get them, is probably going to be desperate for more CMs, especially in GRB
Tornado F3 could even move up to 12.3 if it gets BOL fixes and Phimat, its BR is almost entirely capped at 12.0 purely because of its CM situation imo.

Not to mention they’ve also killed the FM (inaccurately) of the plane they nerfed BOL to deal with. So keeping BOL shafted is pretty rubbish.
There are times where R&R goes silent for a few hours. But they are quite rare.
I’ve actually been good in this one for once : P
