Its weaker than HMS Hood, HMS Renown and HMS Barham, the only value from it is if you msised those event ships and dont want to buy them, Otherwise its gunna be one of the weaker top tier ships in teh game and gunna struggle vs any other 6.7/7.0. Its the definition of a glass canon
Nations like Japan, Israël and Italy are the ones who NEED stuff now!
Especially unique stuff to make them more favourable to play, instead of playing the USSR and the US all over again.

When Britain has the potential to ahve the largest and strongest navy in game and yet has a smaller and weaker top tier line up than the soviets, its frustrating.
Something like HMS Queen Elizabeth could have been added a year ago and we’d still barely be on par with the Scharnhorst.
Still waiting for hvsd/adams for 2 years now :(

Its been made very clear already. Both South Africa and India are sub-trees of the British tree.

If the Repulse were to be a premium, squadron or event vehicle, you wouldnt be happy either.
The Repulse might not be the next top dog in naval, but it sure is needed for your top tier lineups, which everyone is complaining about.
they picked literally one of the worst options to do that with, and yes people would have complained if she was an event ship since the uk would have had 3 god damn event ships at 7.0 and a single tech tree one, even if the ship was hot garbage

and we have to deal with that. But the fear is that instead of getting the Typhoon, BAE Hawk, Jaguar GR3A, TSR2, heck even Vulcan. We’ll now instead see C&P Mig-29s and the such. That would be a real shame. When we have so many iconic aircraft from Britain that havent yet been added. Its frustrating to see aircraft like the Mig-21 BISON appear.
Same with ground ,thankfully, the OSA was just an easy C&P and doesnt take anything away, but if it wasnt, then the big fear is that it would have replaced something like the Tracked Rapier.
we have already seen the battle needed to get native light tanks into our ground tree like Fox and Scimitar and they’ve been fantastic now they’ve been added. Just a shame they came so late and not instead of addiitons like the 1000th SARC

Which means the british could get alot of things like the schilka(upgrade shilka by the iai) and strela or the k9 and more
Repulse would have made a decent premium actually. I wouldnt have minded that, but when we were promised a new rank VI. the hope was that it would replace the Hood as our top ship, or at least be a side grade to it. Not a full downgrade.

when ive asked for common wealth vics its been in areas that gaijin had denied british alternatives and we need something CF18 because the EFT keeps getting denied
not to mention britains lack of actually good MBTs if India had an MBT that would be 12.0 sure I’m all for it but they wont make it past 10.7 where we don’t need them. I don’t think we need soviet C&P at brs where we don’t need it
