I wonder why gaijin chose repulse instead of you know, a QE or KGV, it feels like just a waste I guess

nope she is actually a downgrade with worse AA complement and worse secondaries because Repulse I think is in her construction configuration where as renown is the WW2 Refit

but like the EFT, later versions at least, is ON PAR with some of the Gen 5s, and in case of the F-35 even better at air combat
