huh, for a US-glorifying movie this scene implies once the US brings down the shield, every nation in the world will begin an all-out attack. It was truly a global effort.

However, I do believe (I heard) that it’s written into the UN that every nation in the world would work together if an alien threat showed up. So that wouldn’t be wrong.

ah because 9L and co would totally work against radioactive crafts : P

Thats why i got the first movie as VHS and the second one on DVD her by me.

Second one was a little bit of a letdown Imo, but its still got some good scenes, especially for a movie that had no plot to work off other than “they’re gonna come back”

ah, it’s Roland Emmerich film.

I don’t know why but I love his disaster films. maybe it’s their over-the-top nature mix with me liking destruction(especially with buildings)
