Everything you’ve said there is valid. And yeah, I’ve played all the Merks, their armour is a complete joke compared to what every public estimate indicates they should be (Don’t even get me started on Namer completely missing its side composite in the damage model, despite being plainly present in the visual model).
But things like this is just the snail getting it wrong Initially. If we’re able to provide sources to get a realistic buff and it goes through, that’s awesome. But if sources are found that lead to a realistic nerfs, yeah that’s always going to suck for the people who play it, but it just is what it is. Realism, both good and bad is what we should aim for. Gotta take the rough with the smooth and hope it all evens out over time.

Was Gripens RWR nerf in dev server a balance decision? I’m confused as to why it’s one of the only top tiers that can’t ID RWR contacts anymore… The RWR is classified but the Gripen is very well known for its advanced sensor suite
I don’t mind a nerf as long as all aircraft are held to the same realistic standard, this change just confuses me

Germany’s current drought at top tier is really just a reflection of what they through in reality (in the age where our ingame meta is currently at).

Sweden didnt really update its threat library when it comes to air radars so ig it makes sense historically
it has two powerful engines, great in dogfights, f-4f would easily crash to ground with its engines and old structure
