im gonna be real it feels like gaijin realised without brimstones the Gr4 probably wouldnt be worth it, but they also didn’t want to give it actually good CAS so just took a middle ground and give us a pretty lack lustre AGM, also feels weird that they would give us PGMs when they were only ever tested, but wont give us the 2 extra pylons of 6 Brimstones.

Yeah sure, just like those A-6s and AMXs that just climb to space to deal with their lack of speed and maneuverability
Acting as if having 15 of these brimstones would make a difference. Its going to take 2-3 per mbt anyway so thats 3 kills max compared to up to 6 kills per 6 mavericks (this is assuming they hit and they dont avoid it). Either give us 15 or make them fnf with the spikes guidance rather than ir/tv.

The a6e has 16 or so lgb. The f117 is getting 2? it has no countermeasures. The strela and type 93 has imaging sensor meaning it wont matter. All the other ir nations now have other sam systems now to counter it apart from isreal so it wont matter. Make it 10.3, it wont effect it.
yeah… and a 150km SAM isnt the call lol, if it makes you feel better your getting a SAM that has better range then an ADATs an entire BR lower lol

Wasnt their argument the wing stores where never used? But also isnt there a picture of the full 18 Brimstone loadout USING the wing stores?
I don’t agree, AIM-9M, HMD, and GPS+SAL bombs are also reasons to get it imo.
I do agree on the PGM front though, either give the extra Brimstone (could carry 6+4 Paveways) or keep the PGMs on the GR.1 and have the GR.4 be more sidegrade-y and consistent in weaponry

The argument is that it was “only” tested. As if the yack 141 was only ever tested and a whole heap of other examples. Smin said they would consider it if needed but i doubt well be seeing them for at least another year or so.

no smin said it was because it was only ever used in testing and wasnt a thing used in service, but then they give it PGM500s and PGM2000s that were also only ever tested and weren’t in service
