ADATS is Swiss.
It’s armament is already overpowered enough. It doesn’t need a TGP too.
100% agree, the only problem with the F2 besides the radar (which is an easy fix clearly) will be its flight performance but even then thats assuming they wont nerf it

Yeah… Probably wont use it though, Stormer HVM and Stormer AD are probably better for 10.3 But OSA can replace ADATS at 11.7
The devblog abt the KV-7 U-13 came a little bit earlier than the previous two Dreams come true, those weren’t until the 31st while the KV-7 got it 's own on the 25th.
The parallel events of past years anniversaries weren’t announced until the 8th and 3rd of Nov. respectively, if there 's another one this year maybe it’ll be earlier than those - at least, it 's not likely to be later.
Same. It also confirms what we assumed in that P/AESA is “nerfed” and won’t be as OP as people claim.

My guess is they’re taking their time with Japan since we don’t have as many options as US and RU to dump an aircraft in every update. They could also have been waiting for systems to make the F-2 an actual multi-role with L-JDAMs and such only found on the later variants. Plus with all these AGM munitions, maybe ASM could be an option.
It has to be better than the F-16C as the airframe is a direct successor. The only thing it was worse at was pure T/W (marginally) and top speed due to drag (again marginal decrease).

I would say they are equal because the ADATS is smaller and bedder in AT and the OSA excells in AA but its larger then ouer Barn and worse in selfdefence against tanks
Both are realistically DOA if a tank shoots at you and personally I find the ADATS jsut cant kill most top tier tanks wihtout firing 2 or 3 missiles.
But the extra 0.5km range might push it ahead. But probably wont use it either way
Which was a very welcome discovery for me last month because I thought it had the base Block 40 engine with increased weight and didnt realize the Japanese went through and upgraded the engine to Block 50 standards

It is indeed a little disappointing, but still a little more advanced than expected.
At this point, December should better be it, otherwise it may be DOA. After all its getting “only” four AAM-4s unlike eight to ten AIM-120s / ten to twelve R-77s from current and possible near future additions.

i guess we just have to see how the osa will work out.
F-2 carries more fuel than the F-16C and since they have the same engine, you can get similar performance with less fuel. I did some T/W calculations a few months back and found that they were pretty comparable but also T/W isn’t everything. For example the F-16C has better T/W than the F-16A but the F-16A can run circles around the F-16C.
That’s my concern as well. We know the EFT is most likely coming next year by the leaks and that thing is going to be strong flight performance wise.
Then again I expected them to add the early F-2 before the ARH update because now it’s moot as who wants an SARH top tier. It’s possible they add the F-2 in some early/late mix with ARH missiles, L-JDAMs/Sniper pod, HMD, etc. and the upgrade them in the future with AAM-5/B + AAM-4/B.

Yeah. being a straight C&P I dont mind it. would be pissed if it was a dedicated addition because it means we got the OSA over something to fill the gaps we have or instead of the Rapier.
We really dont need 3x SPAA at 10.3. But its fine. and yeahj we;ll see how it performs.

Hopefully we get Bank to Turn for the AAM-3 as well, but is the F2 limited to 4 AAM-4? I know it has the 8 A2A Pylons just not sure ab that bit

Yea, just 4x AAM-3 and 4x AAM-4, but the wing tanks are on a separate innermost pylon so you can carry 8 missiles with 3 fuel tanks if you want.

Didn’t Britain get SPAA 10.3 in the last patch? And will get another one in this one.
