I think gaijin is just trying to stuff to much things this update, meaning the big shots gets a bigger spotlight at the next one. There are a lot of C&Ps but like 3 top tier battleships in the same patch with a handful of new stuff getting worked on.
I still think its raytracing thats the most troubled work now. Gaijin has to cater the Eastern European or CIS region players which has limited PC capabilities, thats what held the game up in its earlier years.
When Update
RTX 3060 1080p 60Hz, DLSS quality and ultra ray tracing I have 60-80 fps in ground mode. Not bad.
Friday at the earliest, if not, probably next week
Our normal planned schedule of updates hasn’t changed currently.
After many attempts, I finally squeezed in. :3
Congrats, have fun ;)
I wish you all the best, it looks like it’s going to be pretty close.
dev is open and running till the 14th eh? so i guess the update will drop on friday or next week then.
Didn’t you hear? Update is cancelled.
am i crazy or out of the loop to think that this is probably the longest dev and pre-launch wait out of any before? maybe it’s because there’s nothing i’m really looking forward to, but if it releases on friday or NEXT WEEK, that’s the middle of november. that means that Gaijin would have to release this one, have a month and a half to get the next major update out, which will also have it’s devblog season, devserver season, and then whatever after that. this seems pretty time-sensitive.
I think it’s a fair trade to not have to grind 400k in RP and spend 1million credits to get a Tornado with a new bomb.
Until they add IRIS-T, TAURUS and ECM all the ASTA 3.0 would give is a higher resolution targeting pod and a MAWs system?
Better wait for ASSTA 3.1 with AGM-88, MAWS, AIM-9Li (or IRIS-T), HMD and other updates. ASSTA 3 modification is a good stopgap imo
AGM-88 and 9Li can be added to ASSTA-1 too
Does ASSTA had an active programmer like F-16C?
that was the whole point of the ASSTA upgrade
if I correctly understood that…
That allows the F-16C to identify radar signals to program the HARM in-mission.
Without that HARM has to be programmed “on the ground” with the anticipated anti-air system.
Which is why Gaijin stated that HARMs wouldn’t be useful prior to F-16C’s addition.
You’d have to prove other aircraft are capable of identifying radar signals to program the HARM in-mission.
don’t get your devglob all over me
