What would be considered a Flanker on the level of the F18C??? For Russia? I don’t think the Su-33 had any modernization??? Did it???

The question should be what can soviets get that is on-par with Typhoon and Rafale.

Even if Typhoon and Rafale doesnt come in December, can almost gurantee that their counters will.

Theres no Russian naval Flanker comparable to F/A-18C. Closest thing to it from Russia is naval MiG-29K

Well my guess for on-par would be Su-30SM maybe? But that seems kinda crazy to show up in an up date that doesn’t have a Typhoon or Rafale. Videos of it in DCS and from IRL pilot playing DCS Command T on YouTube show it being way better by far then anything we have atm. I don’t think something like it would come without counters.

Based upon last year, the counters came 1-2 updates before.

Such as the Mig-29SMT, Mig-29G and F-16C coming before Gripen and alongside F-15A and Su-27.

I can fully see Typhoon and Rafale coming after they would be appropriate to be added. But we are simply too close to them being required to dismiss their addition at this point. Italy is out of aircraft without doing wierd things like Spanish F-18s. Britain is out of aircraft without tech like mmV Brimstones or ASRAAM. And Germany only has the F-18C from the Swiss. France I have no idea what they have left, if anything

Fingers crossed still for the 336th FS “Rocketeers” skin for the F-15E as a GE skin!

It would practically be a CRIME to not include them in the game…They’re one of the most famous squadrons :(

It’s a pretty simple skin too and I would imagine fairly easy to implement in terms of complexity

It would make my next 2 years and a half if not longer if they added them.

Still hoping for the 157th FS “Swamp Foxes” when we get a Block 52 F-16CJ. Equally important squadron to me and I think a good many others in all honesty.
