like on a serious note, how is it that there was already a perfectly lazy option that they could’ve taken, and yet they chose an equally lazy but worse option?
The EMBT 2017 is legit a 2A7V Hull with a Leclerc turret… copy paste it together, throw it in the German and French tech tree. Bam for the low price of literally ZERO effort you gave 2 nations a good, competitive top tier MBT.
like as it stands the German and French tech trees should go as follows.
Germany
Leopard 2K → EMBT 2018 → EMBT 2022 → EMBT 2024 (120) → EMBT 2024 (140)
2A7V → 2A7+ or 2A8 → etc
France
AMX-40 → EMBT 2018 → EMBT 2022 → EMBT 2024 (120) → EMBT 2024 (140)
Leclerc 21 → Leclerc XLR → Leclerc EVO → Leclerc EVO (140)

Anyone else notcie they nerfed the DEFAS round speeds from ~800m/s to ~600m/s lol, good luck hitting anything with them.
Defas always sucked, so no I never really noticed.
the real joke is how the French and German Alpha jets are the same BR when the German has
- flares
- a better gun
- better strike loadout

Is the french one 9.0 in ground or is it still 8.7? And yeah, flares are a big help but at 8.7 its kinda a non issue as you dont see all aspects. Saying that the german one would be completely fine at 9.0 air so who knows.
If it was going to be a test, why didn’t they add any of the cruise missiles that have been missing from aircraft already in-game for years with less capability?

so are we getting the 2000D RMV? its AASM would make plenty of sense given the introduction of Brimstones, Grom and SDB

This is what Im talking about, Brimstone flying characteristic and guided system exactly poor like Hellfire (Compared to Russia things such as Kh38). This is why I refuse laser guide system for Brimstone. Just give it FnF capability and give SPAA reward for shoot down enemy missile/bomb (temporary). And next step is add SPAA that able to engage multiple target or atleast able to shoot missile from certain range like C-Ram or Skyshield Ranger (For Skyshield Ranger they need to fix AHEAD).

What get nerfed is DEFA 541, which is seen on M.D.452 ⅡC, and it is the only plane use that type of cannon. DEFA 551/552/552A/553/554 are not affected by that change.

Damn, hopefully they move it down then as 8.3 for nerfed defas aint worth it (im assuming its the ouragaun right? also dont expect me to spell it correctly)

I think it’s the version with the improved laser seeker head. How improved I’m not sure but tbh it kinda reminds me of the laser seeker on the Kh-25ML and 29L so maybe similar range and FOV?
