They could have done the:

Scimitar SPIRE/ESPIRE 4 with thermals and a LRF
-
Scimitar LEP ESPIRE 6 with thermals and LRF, and a few other things
-
Scimitar LEP BGTI 2 with 2nd gen thermals and LRF
-
Scimitar LEP EM 235 4 with better engine, driver’s thermals, 3rd gen thermals and LRF
-
Scimitar Mk. II with larger hull, better armour (slat and bolted on armour), etc. Which entered service with APFSDS.
Standard Scimitar is a little bit of a letdown as it’s basically just the Fox on a tracked chassis.

I see! It’s not really for me then, since it won’t be extremely capable at the BRs I play, hahah- however, I know many British players had been looking forward to this vehicle, so I am happy for them!

It won’t change anything in ground RB. It’s just another 900 SP CAS aircraft. If US players currently can’t gather enough spawnpoints to spawn the F-16C, they won’t be able to get enough to spawn the F-15E either.
Honestly I’m kinda disappointed? They’ve done the same thing as the Striker and given us the absolute earliest version too. So no LRF or Thermals.

Having one of the better Top Tier MBTs and the best overall top tier Air is just not enough.
Not really. Most nations are kind of suffering/unfun to play with because of how dominant the 2A7s/122s are.

U.S’ 12.0 MBTs have the same hull as their 10.7 one, let that sink in; and bigger and weaker center of mass weakspot than they should due to mismodelling.
Imagine if all of Sweden’s Top Tier MBTs had the same armor as Leopard 2A4… would you still say it to be a “skill issue” if they didn’t do as nicely as they currently do thanks to Strv 122B+, Strv 122B PLSS and Strv 122A being nearly immune frontally?

I’m not saying the U.S. MBTs dont perform worse than the 2A7V or Strv 122, what I am still going to say is yes struggling with an abrams at top tier is a massive skill issue.
You have mobility up the ass and arguably the best dart at top tier

its not, but just like the Fox the gun handling is so fast it is pseudo-stabilised
