It makes no sense for China to receive piles of vehicles from other Asian countries.
Not all ASEAN countries have ties to China, especially Singapore
NK is not as close to China as Westerners think
NK has no technological ties to China other than importing and using some Chinese-made planes.
Almost all of them are “juche-style” modifications of Soviet-made vehicles.
China also has a lot of its own vehicles left over.
China no longer needs subtrees from other countries
They already have Taiwanese and Pakistani vehicles, do they need more?
Chinese players will also want to see domestic vehicles that has not yet appeared in the game rather than ASEAN vehicles that they are not familiar with.
SK is not small enough to be a subtree of Japan or US.
I don’t think the recent rumors are true, but if they are true I’d be very disappointed in Gaijin
(As a Korean player, I would like to make more political comments about recent rumors, but I will refrain from doing so.)

That reminds me, isn’t the Swiss F/A-18C incapable of carrying Air to Ground stuff? I could have sworn the Swiss only outfitted it as an Air Superiority Aircraft. If that is the case, it doesn’t seem like that good of an addition to fill that gap

It’s not that it’s incapable, it’s just that it didn’t. I guess it will be up to Gaijin whether they decide to give it air-to-ground stuff or not.
I’d more prefer to see North Korea in China, maybe as featured as event, battlepass or premium vehicle, with South Korea maybe Japan (please don’t consider historical aspects) because USA has already as much vehicles as any other main country in-game with Sub tech tree.

Don’t ask me aircraft related questions, I’m not that guy. Anything related to ground, yes.
Ah, right, that’s what it was. I vaguely remembered something about them specifically outfitting the thing as a missile bus and not purchasing any of the Air to Ground stuff as it didn’t fit in with their planned role for the 18C.
They also have Bangladesh; someone also mentioned Laos and Myanmar as potential sub-TTs that would fit better than all of ASEAN.

Hehe, that’s fair. I’m the same when it comes to Helos. Ships and Boats are my primary bread and butter, though (Planes/tanks too too but that comes with the restoration territory)
