I keep an open attitude to the addition of leo2 to the Chinese technology tree , but he does not like it.

If you want to play these vehicles play other nations.I prefer if the CN tree stays “pure”, even if not strong.

I can tolerate the decision IF Indonesia’s guaranteed to Japan as a sub tree.
Verbal advertisement protected by advertisement law, or Indonesian equipment is added to Japan this major/at the same time as Singaporean equipment.
Personally as a Singaporean (and I speak for most as well) we don’t tolerate it ever. That’s the equivalent of putting modern day Ukraine to Russia to us, or South Korea to Japan, or Middle East countries to Israel. As much as Gaijin hates to admit it, it is a geopolitical reasoning.
They have more equipment than just “t-80” as you call it. Nevertheless I don’t see the problem with adding T-84 Oplot and BTR-4, as they sure couldn’t be added to Russia without inducing a huge PR nightmare.
All of their tanks are cool. I especially like the low-tier mash-ups, such as the two SPGs based on the M3 half-track using either a Hotchkiss 47mm or a Bofors 105mm.
It’s why I have a response even IF my “compromise” is fulfilled.
The compromise still leaves me with opposition, just an opposition I can tolerate.
My ideal is Singapore and Indonesia both to Japan.
With China retaining other options.
After all, China will be getting M1A2T regardless of what subtree they get to augment Chinese vehicles.
See, Iranian F-14 I can still get why, so many decisions in game that are questionable but still has some link and make sense.
China and Singapore has absolutely ZERO link other than economical ties. That alone does not justify it for a game about military vehicles, if anything that sounds to me like Gaijin decided to take the leap of dumb into the political spectrum.
I don’t get why non-Singaporeans will try to justify Singaporeans thoughts and mindset. Yall foreigners should just keep to your own lanes, do not try to talk FOR us, or justify anything for us, we do that for ourselves.
THIS IS A GREAT IDEA! Too bad Gaijin doesn’t think that Southeast Asia can make one big giant tech tree on its own, even if we will have a tree bigger than Israel.
