One thing sure it’s even if it’s not on par with the other it will be nerfed, because IRL it used only MICA IR, and since i doubt Gaijin give them (even if only 2) so they already limit it’s capability even if not on par with others xD
In the video of the GR4 we can see a mirage 2000 but we don’t know which variant
It won’t bring much new thing although. Just a new pod (maybe with more than 20km of range) and the ability to carry bomb and gun at the same time. AASM is still not certified for the aircraft (although tested from a 2000N) and we won’t see MICA IR yet even if it is gimped irl on the 2000D RMV (no data link, so no fox 2 with fox 3 range)
Pantsir is not so powerful, I’m sure a Tornado can avoid it in 15km away, where it’s missile already lost mobility. VT-1 has 12km range, but in old time people just avoid it in 8-10 km and hit ITO or Flarakrad with LGB or Laser guided missile, the problem is you should pay attention if pantsir’s missile is coming to you.
Besides, Brimstone is not so slow, Hellfire is slow because it’s launched from 0 speed Heli, not a 1Ma jet, I think it should be 1.2 ma in average, while KH-38 is 1.4 ma in average.
I’m not an aviation guy whatsoever but do we know what version of the F-15E we’re getting in-game? I would assume its likely a later version with the ability to equip AIM-120’s to make it a comparable aircraft to the Su-34 but still.
That’s fair, I was just wondering if there was any determining factor based on the images from the trailer such as visible mods or specific features that can be pointed out.
From teaser it looks like a Frankenstein version since it has a latntirn pod but small diameter bombs which are from an era when lightning pod was used
If you’ve seen my reply, it’s a lot of speculation, since it used small diameter bombs that came out in 2006, the strike eagle should have at least a lightening pod, but we’re getting the older lantirn pod.
