“Starting from 02:45
“Question:Have you considered adding vehicles from countries with close military cooperation with China, such as Pakistan, Bangladesh, and Thailand, to the Chinese technology tree? Do you think there are enough vehicles available for backup?
Answer:Yes, we have such plans. In fact, we already have corresponding plans.””

Don’t disagree but be weary of bringing politics into the discussion. Gonna get a talking to if so.

everyone needs something to compete with the Amagi and Scharnhorst, that tree isn’t special

“with close military cooperation with China” which is totally not Singapore

While I do think that NK and CN has close enough ties for it to work, SK in Japan makes about as much sesne as an Indian subtree in China. They have little in common culturally, and actively have strained relations. It’s never going to happen if only due to Gaijin not wanting to cause a controversy in one of the biggest gaming markets in the world. They are either going to be their own TT, or overhaul either the UI or subtrees to make a S. Korean sub tree for the US possible.

With China, at least you have the excuse that both the ROC and PRC have made claims to being the real China, and the split between the two being the result of a civil war. Korea and Japan are about as related as India and China are, even without going over their historical relationship.

Something to keep in mind is that sometimes companies will start intentionally incorrect rumors in order to find and plug leaks. It’s entirely possible that the ASEAN subtree for China is one of those rumors.

Nope.

The historical evidence would indicate the contrary. People gave China massive shit when it was first added for being comprised of a lot of copy-paste, and is probably the reason why Gaijin experimented with Israel. Similar can also be said for the Hungarian air subtree and the BeNeLux subtree. If a nation doesn’t have enough for a proper tree, they should either be a subtree or be implemented like Israel.

I hope this means that the rumored ASEAN subtree for China refers specifically to nations with ties to the nation. China is already going to get a ton of western kit with the ROC. I do hope they don’t get Thailand though. It’s one of only a few nations that would make sense as a Japanese subtree, and if the Chinese playerbase is really THAT upset over Japan getting a Thai operated VT-4, then simply don’t give Japan the VT-4. A Thai T-84 would be a better option for a capstone to the subtree anyway.

Praying to gaijin that we’ll get african vehicles next for the chinese tree! Hopefully a gripen? I mean…China really doesn’t many much jets do they? Hell i’ll take a rooikat since they don’t have many domestic wheeled vehicles too.

With the Sabra Mk.1 potentially coming, I really hope they revise the armor layout and numerous bugs on the Magach 7C first, which the Sabra Mk.1 is based off of:

It has inaccurate amounts of armor at multiple places
(They’re also mislabeled at that)

Missing a LWS modification attached to the Laser Rangefinder modification:
https://community.gaijin.net/issues/p/warthunder/i/Ya52T6vPBkGH

Side skirts are made out of steel when they should be RHA (and the composite side skirts are thinner than they should be).

Its smoke mortar is visible, yet can’t be used ingame:

As well as horribly underperforming KE protection:
not really a bug report for this, just mentioning the fact that “Composite Armor” has less KE effectiveness that “Rubber Fabric Screens”… like man…

ngl i hope the teaser or stream doesnt come this week. that would mean an update weaker than my sense of self preservation after a round of heli pve

Indonesian scorpion 90 in the Chinese TT…
