If it had been the F-117 section (with the F-15E alongside it, perhaps) and Su-34 section switching between them every 5 or so seconds, I would’ve loved it, but because it feels like two stitched together with a few other things thrown in, t’was not the greatest.
Maybe this was supposed to have SEA reveal, and they scrapped it and had to splice content from December that was ready, like strike aircraft?

Nah, the theme of the update is CAS. So far, most of the major additions have been strike aircraft, and the teaser took special focus on CAS.
there being a few CAS vehicles added does not mean it is a theme.
The theme of the update is high tier attackers. This is not my opinion, this is a fact.

Yep, made this joke a number of times in the past week when discussing the F-117. It has stealth but going to mostly flying against aircraft that dont even have radar :D
