Major Update "Firebirds" - Rumor Round-Up & Discussion (Part 2)

I am back, only 126 posts over an hour. I’m kinda disappointed.

Gaijin has a history doing this stuff just look at the sepv2 they tried to market it like it was an actual upgrade when in reality it was a complete downgrade.

Maybe, still. I just hope they are few and far between and we dont get what we had in ground, where we just got SA light tanks back to back and only just now getting things like the Scimitar.

That I think is the greatest fear.

Why do you want [insert british light tanks like the scimitar] you have the rooikat?

Why do you want the [insert british top tier jet, like the typhoon] you have the Gripen?

Why do you want [Wildcat or another british heli] you’ve got the super-hind?

irl su-34 without ECM on wingtip hasnt RWR. So must be only ten pylons.

Because thats the seperation we are seeing both in real life and ingame (in sim at least) post WW2.

@Stona_WT @Smin1080p_WT

Will it have Kh-31?

Just going by:

So Im dont know, but yeah maybe.

Anyway, 10x pylons is still much more than the Gripens 6 or most nations 8.

So long as the radar is good, it doesnt really matter. That is their main complaint anyway

Let’s not get into that

Yeah, better not.

Yes. Short answer. Not going further, happy to DM.

Tho must say Gaijin got really bold with the decision about the pilot audio they did in teaser

It’s also bold of them to nerf Brimstones and potential future ATGMs, but not the KH-38

Traditional Gaijin move. Nerf one thing but not the other…which for some reason is almost always positive to only one nation in game…hmmmmmmm

Chilling 30 minutes in a battle doing nothing lol, thats never going to happen

The Kh-38 doesn’t pick its own targets (as in, you can’t ripple fire them in 5 seconds) and can be countered with smoke
Not the Brimstones

So, with the KV-7 out of the way, what is everyones guess for the Dreams Come True event?
Anyone else think it’s a plane to coincide with the event schedule?

That’s fair, though I don’t think I’ve ever heard of anyone saying no to indigenous vehicles because of stuff in the subtree. Like, I’ve seen positive ratios for foreign equipment that was only ever evaluated on the forums, so the I doubt you’d have to worry about the community. The actual issue is if Gaijin doesn’t add them in because a subtree vehicle fills that hole.

The problem I have with that is those sides haven’t been a continuous thing post WW2. Nations do swap sides every now and then, especially after the fall of the USSR, and isn’t anywhere close to being a bigger issue then copy paste is as a whole, east or west tech be damned.

KV-7 U-13 is still my guess
