The Tornado GR.4 brings far more than just Brimstone, which you seem to be omitting. You are also forgetting battle ratings exist and things coming in the same update =/= they will be the same BR.

Imo it is fair, the KH-38 already exists and outranges every SAM in the game but for “balance” reasons the brimstone cant be adjusted/ nerfed in such a way to do the same and not be limited to laser guidance

Pantsir situation is still a valid concern though. Su-34 + best AA is on the Russian side, other countries should get their equivalents to the Pantsir by now. China can get FK-2000, US can get SLAMRAAM, etc.

The SDBs shown in the video are GPS guidance only. I mean, ok I guess, main thing it has going for it is the count.
SAM outranging was one aspect. Brimstone has a greater launch range than some SAMs too.
There were many aspects to weapons like Brimstones that Kh-38 does not have.

the Tornado GR1 in its current state exists at battle rating 11.3, the GR4 is getting 9Ms, HMD, new weapons (the main one being the brimstone missile) which means it will sit bare minimum at 12.0. 12.0 ground REGULARLY sees 12.7 uptiers meaning it’s going to frequently be fighting these better newer jets.
They do have every right to complain and be upset when the decision of the devs was to choose the worst way to circumvent a problem possible, while pandering to the nations that were already leagues ahead of everyone else by giving them even better toys.
It’s disheartening to see devs and community managers giving the cold shoulder to very valid critiques of the games balance.
