Thats the thing you have to remember. ADATS can barely fight a switched on KA-52 with Vikhrs, let alone a Su-25T with KH-29s. Whilst thats not the case for all antion sure, China, France, Sweden even Germany could deal with Soviet CAS before. Israel, Britain, US, Japan Italy could not, not even close.
Now no one can. But the Pantsir is just as effective as it was before. Even aircraft like the F-16C and Gripen are no guarantees of victory
Your forgetting why the gr 1 is at 11.7 compared to the other tornados… its ground capabilities. I am fully aware it shouldnt but this is gaijin and they dont make educated decisions.
Tbh, I feel like adding the mmV Brimstones, if they really are as slow as Hellfires, probably isn’t too OP. They’d still struggle with the same issues that Kh-38’s do at range, and they’d still only be able to get into viewing range at roughly 18km as well.
It’s hard to explain how the Israelis have multiple Spike carrying helicopters with spam loads, and the Brits can’t even get 6x mmV Brimstones.
You lock the ground by them and it can aquire a lock on a target itself, as long as its close to its impact point. so i use it against stationary cas (pantsir players) and then get in close for mbts and other tanks.
Both will have 12x Mk13s, Brimstones wont change that, if anything it will have the same A2G and should be 11.7 if they are going back CAS power in air modes
Only IRCCM Id say 11.7. I want the Gr1. ASSTA1 and A200A to get Aim-9LI to have a reason to be at 11.7.
But the addition of TERMA (with MAWS and more flares), better TPOD and HMD (even FLIR is going to be handy sometimes) , just nudges that up to 12.0 in my books. Addon BOL as well, and thats easy to place at 12.0 (if it gets BOL of course, which it should imo)
