Major Update "Firebirds" - Rumor Round-Up & Discussion (Part 2)

How fast is it?

Radars should obviously have some trouble locking it, but IR missiles won’t care at all. If it’s not shot down by the radar missile it is going to be brought down by guns or IR missiles. At the end of the day it’s gonna get pulverized anyway

It has to get straight above you first. It’s a giant subsonic black dorito lmao, it’s not getting far unnoticed.

And what about cloud cover you may ask, well yes, but if there is cloud cover the F-117 won’t be able to use it’s LGBs either,

It should have JDAMs as well. Also ive gotten away with much worse in the A10 at top tier, I dont think the 117 will be an issue to sneak with

F-117 pilots in war thunder hate this one simple trick (100% succes guaranteed):

It employs multiple thermal signature reduction measures… it could reduce the lock range, similar to helicopters

But PESA and AESA radars seen on SPAAs might ruin the day.

google will tell you

That’s what I’ve seen too, but i doubt gaijin will model it correctly. The Harrier is supposed to have some IR signature reduction too, but it doesn’t.

What like a 13.0 F5?

Gripen as well

Hello!? This is not the B2. It’s not “giant”. It’s fighter sized.

2nd… color doesn’t matter in WT, everyone is rendered as a black dot no matter how it looks up close.

Slightly larger then the F15 by a few foot so yeah it is just about fighter sized

It is a large fighter similar to that of F15

It seems to have similar minensions as the F-15, which I consider to be pretty easy to spot.

Now a plane that size with not a lot of speed is an easy shot with my roland.

This should help
