Right, but here’s the problem. Chinese players rightfully want their unique indigenous equipment, as well as Chinese-collaborated projects (such as Pakistani ones). They are not fond of Western equipment as much, for this reason.
Japanese players understand that there are fewer indigenous vehicles to be added to their tree. So they have been expecting foreign equipment through subtrees for a while now. No longer is this happening, apparently

France didn’t need a sub tree yet they got one, but from what I’m gathering China is getting more hate for it by virtue of being China.

tbh honest i agree with that they don’t really need a sub as the amount of equipment that both chinas own are enough to fill it to the brim

The inconsistency by which they apply these things is the real issue. The 2A4M by all accounts should have gone to Britain. But NOPE screw you, Germany gets a tank they not only didn’t need but could’ve replaced with any number of other variants they have

…There were many better additions for China. If you really want to add sub tree why not Pakistan? There’s already two new Pakistani vehicles added last update.

the thing is in Bvvd’s interview he was asked about subtrees including Thailand. Maybe thats just because Chinese players want more export vehicles as well

The interviewees do not represent the CN community. It was completely out of the blue.
Still adds western equipment for a change of pace if that’s what Gaijin is going for too. (Abit more early cold war stuff, but my point still stands)
remember when just a month or so ago, we were all collectively laughing about Germany getting a Sub Tree?
This shouldn’t be an issue to cause subtrees to change. After all, both Germany and France have the SK-105 and JaPz.K A2
I still don’t think it can be called sub, adding Chinese own product’s is not sub, add T-80UD, is also strange.
yes, it’s why this was asked. and also because some people worry about Chinese vehicles in Japan. But they don’t care the rest
