JA37D with AMRAAM would be a terrible choice for Gaijin because of no proper A2G weaponry, airframe limitations and skill it would require from the player. Danish or Norwegian F-16A is a much better option but even some unit specific Gripen A would do.

F-16A with only AIM-9Ls could make for a decent 12.7 premium.

Previous patterns of premium additions, especially recently, have shown the US getting a type of premium before everyone else. For example, the clickbait and f4s, as well as the a6, f20, and m1kvt
A lot of times now US has gotten a top tier prem before others, like the clickbait and f4s

Would be a pretty good decision to implement this on Gaijin’s part. The F-16A with 9Ls would fit in well amongst other jets, without hitting top tier.
Unsure if they would equip it with Aim-120s, but we are yet to see any ARH premiums…

Not really. As the additions were pretty evenly spread out over different trees for the first while.
US got the Magach 3, then Britain got the shot kal and then france got the vautour IDF.
Only became a bit more one sided when they introduced the 3 event metkavas after that.
US just got the AV-8B(NA) so I doubt they’ll get a new premium jet this update.
Or maybe as the US got the F-20 and is one of the few nations with a 12+ premium. It will be another nation to get a 12+ premium that requires ARH to be competitive/to be added will get it first
US: 3 competitive 11.7+ premiums (including the highest premium in game) and several good premiums below that
Germany: No Premium above 11.3
USSR: No premium above 11.7(though very good 11.3/11.7 premiums)
Britian: 1x 12.3 premium (though I hope it gets replaced with something good soon)
Japan: no premium above 10.7
China: No premium above 11.3
Italy: No premium above 10.7 (AMX A-1A should be 10.7)
France: No premium above 11.7 (but has one of the best 11.7 premiums in the game)
Sweden: No premium above 11.0
Israel: No premiu, above 11.0
So any nation but US and Britian would be my guess for a premium ARH carrier first (Though Sea Harrier FRS51 is possible for Britain)
I just feel like I’ve missed the boat for grinding Swedish air. The J-35xs is in such a horrible position (still) that I’m just not willing, even at half price, to subject myself to misery just to get the gripen.
An F-16 with 9Ls would just fill that spot perfectly though.
