Dont be so sure.
- Swiss F-18 (if it gets added this update) wont necessarily have any CAS. IRL it did not.
- Torando ASSTA3 (if it gets added this update) is a fairly minor upgrade over the ASSTA1 and isnt onpar with the GR4.
- Additional loadout options for the Tornado ASSTA1 are possible, such as AGM-88 HARMs, but that is no gurantee either.
You might yet need to wait for Typhoon
the ASSTA3 will at least give it JDAM compatibility which will be better than nothing for Germany.

This is true. But that and BOZ-ECs are about it I think. At least assuming things like TAURUS arent added.

my theory on the update is that they’re using it as both a means to test out new A2G weaponry (namely the Brimstone missile on a bad platform before it makes its appearance on better platforms)
As well as to test out next generation IR missiles
- MICA-IR on the RMV, and ASRAAM on the GR4

I feel for you, I truly do. But the sad news regarding germany’s CAS and overall Air discrepancy is… well Germany just kinda took the L in that department IRL. Their air force was always a bit of a shambling mess until the Typhoon came out.
If ASSTA3 or SLE get added they should at least give it HOSBO and LaGS.
But it probably won’t come this patch, even though it’s desperately needed.
When I asked Smin if the upgraded Tornados would come at the same time for all nations he kind of just dodged the question.
The anniversary celebration is approaching, and I am curious about what the event vehicles will be. At the same time, I also hope that gaijin can replicate the scoring for the vehicle event on the 10th anniversary. I really like TB-3, but I missed it at that time.
Going theory is that the event vehicle will be the KV-7 U-13 owing to previous leaks, though SU-15 B-30 also fits the ‘tease’ from the leaker.
Also possible that they are overhauling how they do the event, seeing as how leaks indicate the F-117 is being added as a Squadron vehicle, and that is perfect for Dreams Come True. Could be that going forward they have what would previously have been the big ticket event vehicle, in this case the F-117, be Squadron vehicles, and have interesting prototypes be the event reward. From what I’ve heard, this would fit their new stance on event vehicles not being unique gameplay wise going forward so that everyone has the chance to play them.

I don’t know much about it, but apparently it has a 150mm naval gun. I’d say it’s more likely if there weren’t prior leaks regarding the KV-7.
And it’s SU-14 B-30, but I am a dumbass and got the name wrong.
