Major Update "Firebirds" - Rumor Round-Up & Discussion (Part 2)

If it is an early E it should be fine

Will F-15S be added to the UK in this update?

Why would it? I’d imagine that Gaijin would add an early E block that won’t have AESA radar.

It will still be the fastest jet in the game by a large margin no? And its ordinance count will be absurd and people already complain about CAS as it is

Even still the non AESA radar will be VERY powerful

Yeah… But the E has a lower thrust-to-weight ratio, which means its climb performance will be worse (important if you want to lob Fox 3s), and the weight will mean it’ll probably turn even worse than the Flanker in its nerfed state.

Ofc it will its a strike fighter its not meant to dogfight

I know and understand that the F15E is extremely heavy

This is air RB performance. I don’t see how the F-15E will be too unreasonable in ground RB, considering we have SPAA like the Pantsir and probably more in future updates.

Absolutely I get your point but if the F15E preforms like I expect even the Pan might struggle a bit as broken as it is not to mention the other poor SAMs

Ofc I could just be overexaggerating my image of what the F15E is ill just have to see

if it an early one its performance would be a F15C but heavier

Later the E does get better engines just depends on what one they add

I too would like to see an F-15E, but will there be an F-15I added? The F-15I is basically the same as the early F-15E with the only difference being the number of C/Ms and Python 4.

It can use AIM-9M just fine. Armament is a balance factor afterall

Eh, IIRC, even with the China ASEAN leak, there was a specific mention saying Thailand wouldn’t be part of that subtree.

Then what are they? If they aren’t subtrees, what then?

As for the hornets thing, yeah. A Canadian or Australian Hornet in the GB tt is reasonable.

The what ?

Incorrect, heck it got enough stuff for its own TT.

Let’s put it this way every nation in the game can get Canadian-built stuff, either through itself or a sub-tree/related nation.

Canada has domestic vehicles for every rank(or almost every) in-game. Even if I’m constantly fighting with curtain nation mains because they want to claim Canada’s modern domestic vehicle as theirs. And well the ground would have more domestic stuff it’s not like the air doesn’t have anything, it has 8 domestic airframes(19 aircraft) to its name if I counted correctly there might be more actually. What the air tree does have going for it, is licensed building. to the point 70-80% of the Canadian air tree I’m working on is Canadian-built.

The idea that Canada never built anything is crazy considering history and where Canada is placed. The UK got Canada building stuff domestically in the 1930s, heck Canada tried to build a domestic fighter in the 1930s. And even during the war, Canada built a number of stuff including a domestic medium tank that has 15 or so variants altogether. Tho Canada’s most notable stuff is what got Canada labelled as “allied Italy” playstyle-wise back in the day. So things like the CMP Trucks that were converted into a number of TD and SPAA variants, to top it off a number of nations can get something based on a CMP Truck(including Isreail and Sweden(Norway)).

Now if Canada’s pretty decent collection of vehicles doesn’t move you enough, there is always the option to combine it with the ANZACs and remove almost any need to have C&P outside a handful of things.

…Oh wait this was about a sub-tree. Canada isn’t the issue for a Canadian sub-tree it would be Gaijin, as they hate the idea of a unique and full sub-tree. Take a look at all the others in the game. So despite there being options Gaijin would only pick their C&P.

From what we been told they are “floaties” not the official name but you get the idea.
They have a rule of if the US doesn’t need them and Britain has a cancelled project or a hole that need to be filled, then Britain should get them.

However if there no hole needs to be filled and we got our own tech then they will be added to the original country that made them.

Nothing they aren’t anything. Well, they are something: a way to milk nations’ in-game players money well also giving lip service that they are doing those nations good(even if their “good” does nothing but make the people from these nations mad).

I can’t speak for everyone, but I would legit trade half of the planes that the US got for an actual 2A7/122 counterpart. Or hell just a new MBT that isn’t a straight up downgrade over the old one (cough SEPv2).

I would say the same for other nations without a 2A7/122 counterpart, but they got less planes so they wouldn’t need to trade anything.

It’s incredibly likely though. I would say 70-80% sure at least.

Why would it?

Or maybe Gaijin should just fix existing top tier M1s
Turret ring should be approx 200mm-ish thick
LFP should provide around 500mm against KE penetrators
etc.
