What BR in air sim do we expect the Tornado GR.4 to be?
No higher than 12.0 (assuming no ASRAAM)
I already think the Tornado Gr1, ASSTA1 and A200A should be at 11.3 not 11.7 and if they are to remain at 11.7 should get Aim-9Li/Aim-9M or BOL.
Tornado Gr4 would have BOL, Aim-9M (as placeholder for ASRAAM) and MAWS via TERMA (if modeled) But overall, its still just a Tornado Gr1 at its core.
Would be really hard to justify anything higher than 12.0 and even that is a bit of a stretch (but 12.0 would be at least managable)
well, youre making assumptions, btw we all know that the moment that they limit the load you will start making bug reports about that.
And?
We have year old bug reports for Harrier Gr7 having 6x AGM-65 and the CR1/CR2 having a ready rack larger than 4 shells. Have you seen either be fixed? Gaijin ignores british bug reports all the time.
It would be a valid bug report to report, but just because its reported, doesnt magically mean it will be fixed, espcially as loadout options are always balancing decisions.
You are also making assumptions that Brimstones will one shot everything.
I think 6 would be powerful enough, can provide 4-5 kill. and the rest pylons can be filled by other weapons.
what does this mean
you should know that, Mi-35M has half of it’s missiles for a long time
according to wikipedia the warhead is only 6.3kg which is smaller then hellfires by about half a kg, AGM-65Ds have a 39kg warhead, they will not be more lethal
That to equip brimstones, it also needs you to equip a tpod.
Considering its still a Tornado IDS we are talking about and not a highly nimble Gen 4+ fighter that is capable of self defence (assuming no ASRAAM) I think 9-12 is perfectly reasonable.
never said they will…
btw it is quite funny that you start comparing it with the f16 an a post later you state that it will be " no higher than 12. 0"
I explained. Though when hit a light armored vehicle, AGM-65 can easily over pressure, AGM-114 can’t. It’s long story explain this, so I only give the result.

Will be no higher than 12.0 in ASB. Air Sim.
Do you really consider the Torando Gr1, ASSTA1 or A200A to be 12.7+ worthy in ASB?
GRB and ASB are 2 very, very different gamemodes
the su 25 is, so i see no reason as to why it shouldn’t unless it doesnt get anything better than an aim 9L
Su-25T and Su-39 are 11.7. I guess they could be moved to 12.7 and the Su-24M can be moved up to 11.7
It’s a sadly fault. one fault doesn’t mean another
the sm3 is 12.3 …
and, not my fault the soviets didnt report that last BR Change. They somehow got the second strongest 11.7 aircraft in Sim down to 11.3 , the Mig-23MLD, but failed to get the Su-25SM3 down to 11.7.
But that is no justificaiton for rendering a new aircraft DOA, out of just pure spite.
the Su-25T is 11.7 the Su-39 is 11.7 (mind you with R73s) the Su-25SM3 is 12.3, unless the Tornado gets ASRAAMs it wont be above 12.3
wont be above 12.3
and with no 12.3 bracket, 12.3 = 12.7. So I really dont want it higher than 12.0. I really dont want to have to be dodging Mig-29s. Harrier Gr7 can barely cope.
we already know gaijin isnt gonna give britain a reasonable Air BR so honestly can just hope for a good ground br
We can hope at least.
Ground BR though is irrelevant, it will be 12.0 or higher and will face 13.7 CAP all the time and probably the Pantsir every match as well. In GRB we can just hope that Brimstones dont have a 1000 base SP cost or something stupid like that and that they arent a total buggy mess (heck, we have to hope it even gets them and the GR4 isnt just a carbon copy of the tornado Gr1 with Aim-9Ms as the only loadout difference)
true lol, I can already hear people complaining that its unfair that it gets the brimstones (cant wait for them to be modelled terribly and for them to barely work in game)
