One of the biggest missed opportunities from Gaijin of recent times is not throwing in the XF-2A with APG-68 with AAM-3s and AIM-7Ms for Air Superiority update while everyone else had F-15As. Then come Seek and Destroy, they could have added the F-15J(M) (just calling it F-15J).
I know they had to add the AJ because Japan needed CAS, but now with the Thai F-5, we don’t really need the AJ anymore as it does not do much better at top tier in ARH filled lobbies against Pantsirs anyway.

My issue is I still haven’t found that variant of the XF-2 with countermeasures, and since it’s a complete prototype with a production unit [F-2], that means it can’t get the Kikka treatment.

You don’t. The mavericks do not require CFTs. The AMRAAMS do not require CFTs. The centerline GBUs do not require CFTs. And now that I think about it, the quad rack SDBs have been flown centerline as well, so that’s 6x AGM-65s, 4x SDBs, and 4x AIM-120s without CFTs
So Taiwan, with it’s F-16’s and M1 Abrams are the only non Sino-Soviet equipment at 10.7+? Indonesia is definitely neutral if not historically (at times) and presently friendly to China.
Japan getting Thailand and Singapore is already plenty to flesh that tree out, is it not?
