Update Sky Guardians
Russia’s best CAS jet the Mig 27K had already been powercrept by the Harrier GR7 as the best Strike jet. The multirole F-16A’s introduced in Apex Predators an update prior (which were given to the U.S., China, Israel) were the best multirole jets in the game.

KA 50/KA 52 way stronger dominating way more in CAS

Sky Guardians released the Pantsir to make up for the fact the Tunguska couldn’t do anything to those planes. (reminder at the time the best CAS aircraft in the game at this time were owned by Israel, America, Britain)

Sons of Atilla (2 updates after Sky Guardians) Introduced the F-16C, AV-8b Plus (italy) meaning even more nations had access to better CAS than Russia could field, and by this point all but Sweden/Germany/Italy had better multi-role jets than Russia did. Not to mention the FM of the Mig 29s was beaten with a stick meaning that despite having the best Fox 1 in the game for a while, that’s all they had going for them

lemme cry for you once i have the time, russia still had strong aircraft and the tor m1 would have worked just as well , the pantsir 1 still is overkill

Russia traded Air Power for Anti-Air power. The only relevant aircraft they have being the Su-25SM3 which cannot defend itself from enemy aircraft reliably.

go ahead and tell me which relevant multirole fighters china had until the J10 last patch
The mig29 smt still worked good as a multirole fighter with access to multiple stand off missles, there was the su 39 with giant armament loadout etc

pantsir was not /is not necesary , tor m1 would have worked just as much.
japan has worse CAS only a type 81c without radar
italy the best was av8b+ bad airframe as well and not spaa to name
and so on and on

ussr was entitled with the pantsir which turned it to russia wins trough air dominance because nobody was allowed to spawn air for multiple updates

also the Su-39/25T were both ass. Massive payloads yes, devastating if you allow them to be yes, but they literally cannot exist around AA or enemy Air Power. 2 things the Harriers actually could do until Fox 3s

at the point of introduction KA 50/52 was the worst top tier problem until they fixed the freaking vikher missle with a series of debuff

Not hopping in to fight just to add a key detail about mig-29smt and SU-27SM, both are missing their targeting pods (Sapsan-E for both, T-220 and possibly PDLC for SMT).

The F-16 MLU had both the Mig 27K and Mig 29 SMT beat for CAS. They only fell behind (very shortly might I add) for the Su-27SM, which they immediately took back with the J-10A and JF-17
