others said it was only russia, so we dont know what will happen.

again there have been others that stated only russia was getting it

Damn, I was about to get my first Bingo to but no new T-Series nor F-15 / F-16 were confirmed yet, well XD

Better look next time m8 lol

i mean which others? there is only 2 reliable leakers the chinese and the datamine one and both lsits named it

I just cant understand people seeing these vehicles as something gamebreaking than anything else.

It only makes sense that all 3 nations get it. Gaijin would get a shitstorm if Russia got the 2nd strongest AA for now. All nations 10-12km and Russia 15km and 18km. Doesn’t make sense like that.

Still surprised that there wasnt an Indian Osa in there for the UK too, “everyone gets a gecko!”.

Middle spot is free, remember?

Maybe it will come in later with a dev update. Remember the Israeli F16C, which was added with a dev Server update

Remember, Israel and Italy doesnt even have a proper top tier SAM system.

I’m not back pedaling…

At the time of the Pantsir’s introduction

  • Update Sky Guardians
Russia’s best CAS jet the Mig 27K had already been powercrept by the Harrier GR7 as the best Strike jet. The multirole F-16A’s introduced in Apex Predators an update prior (which were given to the U.S., China, Israel) were the best multirole jets in the game.

  • Sky Guardians released the Pantsir to make up for the fact the Tunguska couldn’t do anything to those planes. (reminder at the time the best CAS aircraft in the game at this time were owned by Israel, America, Britain)

  • La Royale 1 update later introduced the Mirage 2000-5F and the PGM bombs granting France the best Multirole jet for a short time period)

  • Sons of Atilla (2 updates after Sky Guardians) Introduced the F-16C, AV-8b Plus (italy) meaning even more nations had access to better CAS than Russia could field, and by this point all but Sweden/Germany/Italy had better multi-role jets than Russia did. Not to mention the FM of the Mig 29s was beaten with a stick meaning that despite having the best Fox 1 in the game for a while, that’s all they had going for them

  • Kings of Battle didn’t change anything

  • Air Superiority and Alpha Strike. These two updates essentially cemented the fact that every nation had Russia beat for multirole except Germany.

Lastly Seek & Destroy gave Russia a better Multirole jet than what Germany and Japan had access to, but still left them far behind the other 7 nations in the game.

So yeah… I didn’t backpedal on my point, nor was my point wrong. Russia traded Air Power for Anti-Air power. The only relevant aircraft they have being the Su-25SM3 which cannot defend itself from enemy aircraft reliably.

Now as for the main topic of the AA Gap: I don’t think the other best AA’s are struggling. The Ito’s are great still, and Flak bus while worse than the others is still decent. The ADATS is now in the same boat the Tunguska was pre-pantsir. But the main nations I worry for are all the nations stuck with 6km range Stinger AA or god forbid Italy using a glorified 2S38 as their AA vehicle against jets that reliably out range most of the AA in the game.

That’s not what I’ve been seeing unless I haven’t scrolled enough. I see people happy to see something iconic and more than enough bemoaning it’s not meta defining. It’s a fantastic plane to add as an obvious leadup to more capable stealth aircraft.
