For me its usually 2-4 cause i use them in cqc engagements, for longer ranges i prefer to use R27ER which still beats anything in terms of pure performance.
Only downside is you have to keep the radar lock which i avoid during jousting.
China may get the PL-21, Russia the R-37, and America the AIM-260 at the same time, so it wouldn’t be alone in that.
It will be, unless Aim-260 comes to light and proves that it can beat Meteor.
Eurofighter with later block ASRAAMs and Meteors will be amazing
R27er is better in performance I agree I just don’t like how I need to keep lock and at my ranges Id need to keep lock for ages which means I can’t engage other targets, I tend to use all r77 loadout, fire them all and then dive down to engage with R73 from above and a lot of people don’t look up
Those missiles are designed to hunt AWACS type of planes from very long range, not to mention just because you can see something from 400km doesnt mean you can effectively engage with them.
For fighter to fighter engagements Meteor will be still best.
Why would Singapore be in the Chinese tech tree?
Later tranche of eurofighter has the potential to be one of the strongest if not the strongest 4th gen fighter

Eurofighter will be nice to fly in general if it does not come in nerfed state. Crazy thrust to weight ratio even while carrying a decent load.

Everyone has their own tactics and strategies that work for their preffered playstyle, there’s really no wrong way of playing if your getting success
Considering current Gripen and J10A i can easily say EFT and Rafale will not have nerfed flight performance.
In fact they might come with overperforming flight performance, like Gripen did.
Couldnt agree more, nice to see there are other people who has open minds for different tactics.
I’d be more than happy for it to be artificially nerfed if that meant it came earlier.
From what I know, Rafale is slightly better in one-circle compared to EFT, while EFT has the better rate performance. This is because EFT’s canards are far-coupled while Rafale’s are close coupled.
I dont, i want my EFT and Rafale to perform at maximum rate, if it means i have to wait another couple months then so be it.

Just some planes are better suited for some tactics than others, often see on Reddit complaining about a plane but their just using it wrong
