Major Update "Firebirds" - Rumor Round-Up & Discussion (Part 2)

There is no confirmation that Su-34 can use targeting pods at this time.
However, I anticipate the new largest AND heaviest supersonic jet aircraft until the additions of B-1 Lancer and Tu-160.
Comparing Sukhoi Su-34 to the Sagittario 2 will be an astonishing sight to behold.

If the new leaks are true gaijin is shitting on china with another artillery system instead of the bajillion ,million light tanks china has and are needed atm . wth is this decision making

For some reason, Gaijin just want to hand out SPG to every one.

it’s fun at least, though I want the PLZ-07 or PLL-09, modern 122mm SPG would be more interesting

am i the only one who would be mad if the first aircraft with some electronically scanned radar would be the Su-34 instead of the MiG-31, since the MiG was the first one to do it

Isn’t SPYDER a system a air defence complex system, not an AIO? IIRC, the SPYDER AIO only came out in 2023, and from what I understand the SPYDERs in question were bought before then. Strela is unnecessary as Japan doesn’t have a lineup at 10.0. ZSU is also unnecessary, you already have the Type 93. Neither does Japan need a Tunguska, it has no 10.0 tanks, and it’s 11.3 lineup has the Type 81.

Eh, both are large heavy inefficient airframes, but the Mig-31 accelerates and goes faster.

Type81 has IR lock, without radar and is very limited range, Tunguska even though it is 10.7, an AA with radar, cannons and missiles with 10km range would be extremely helpful and it doesn’t need to depend on the map as there is no cloud to lock distance, what about type93 , it is more of a meme vehicle than something useful, extremely difficult to use with a missile curve limited to 10g and an explosive charge that sometimes requires 2 to 3 missiles to perhaps kill a target when it hits

in addition to the type81 being practically useless against helicopters since everyone has missiles that reach longer than the type81, and there is IRCM to make things even worse

Su-34 has no IR system

Then Gaijin should buff the 93 and 81 as opposed to trying to make really questionable connections. Last I checked, Vietnam is questionable at best as to it’s ‘alignment’ with the west, and Myanmar is, from what I understand is aligned with China, not the west, so it wouldn’t make sense for Japan to get them.

If you had been active on this thread, you would have seen that the majority of us aren’t happy that, instead of fixing the Leclercs, Gaijin decided to add three copy-paste Leopards and call it a day.

Besides, you can’t compare some copy-paste 2A5 and 2A6 to the actually unique Leopard 2SG.

ok then, I’ll ask the gaijin to buff it by giving missiles that never existed to see if they become competitive and myammar has more ties with NATO and Russia than China since a huge part of its equipment comes from them

mainly reason for asking Japan for ASEAN in general because the nation has stagnated both in air and land with very few options to come (modern in this case), because with the arrival of ASEAN it opens up a gigantic range of new possibilities of even unique versions of vehicles that It doesn’t exist in other nations. China is very well served and has a good range of vehicles to come, China’s current problem is that gaijin launched Chinese vehicles, all poorly done and with grotesque errors (like most nations), gaijin correcting these problems makes China return to being a competitive nation

Japan has basically funded half the Myanmar military up until the coup. Just because they aren’t US aligned doesn’t mean they can’t favor Japan more than China. Take Thailand that is more aligned with China than the US, but still regularly ranks Japan favorably above both in most metrics.

Type 93 is a normal manpad carrier, same as others, and has a little more advantage in locking helis, because the optical mode. all manpad carrier needs some tricks to use, like don’t attacks targets from the front.

Problem is when will this be done,I hope it won’t be 10years later.

That just is untrue

I don’t disagree with what you are saying, but CN tree being fixed will take a miracle. CN players wouldn’t ask for subtrees if they weren’t mad about it.

The thing with the errors in say Type 99A, is that they’re similar to the errors in Leopard 2A7V or M1A2.
Do they negatively impact performance in ground RB [not sim]? A little, yeah.
Do they harm the performance of a player that uses the survivability onion? No, Type 99A is still one of the best tanks in the game where it’s only real flaw is its reload speed… which is mitigated by its reverse speed/general mobility which makes the Type-99A great for closer ranges.
No, it’s not 5.3 seconds of expert crewed Abrams/Ariete.
It’s still a well armored tank, still fires a good round.

Of course, like with all tanks in War Thunder, the Type 99A should have its issues fixed.
It’s just not as bad as Leclerc’s bugs/confirmed issues. Even Ariete has less bugs/confirmed issues than Leclerc…

What’s annoying and funny is that Gaijin gave the incorrect internal fuel amount to J-10, fixed it, then broke it again recently.
