I figure no matter how good the missile if it only gets two then it probably wouldn’t be too bad. Also with Gaijin doing its balancing.
I’m not an aviation guy whatsoever but do we know what version of the F-15E we’re getting in-game? I would assume its likely a later version with the ability to equip AIM-120’s to make it a comparable aircraft to the Su-34 but still.

That’s fair, I was just wondering if there was any determining factor based on the images from the trailer such as visible mods or specific features that can be pointed out.
From teaser it looks like a Frankenstein version since it has a latntirn pod but small diameter bombs which are from an era when lightning pod was used

Only visible thing someone pointed out was the tail number on the skin:
However we don’t know for sure how much significance the skin holds to the variant we are getting.

If you’ve seen my reply, it’s a lot of speculation, since it used small diameter bombs that came out in 2006, the strike eagle should have at least a lightening pod, but we’re getting the older lantirn pod.

They have changable kit, so i guess Gaijin would do the same, give only guidance that are “balanced” and keep the best one for later.
Also it can’t use Magic 2, but yeah stock grind would be horrible without that, so dunno…
But the most i think about it the most i see Gaijin not giving AASM at all till Rafales…
first time I must say the buccaneer S1 is better (for base bombing at least)
