No man, the Japanese got the F-16 because they would’ve lacked competent CAS otherwise. Germany has CAS, and it has usable options for air. Is it a good situation? No, but it isn’t anywhere close to as bad as the Japanese situation was at the time, and I say this as someone who doesn’t like the F-16J. Germany would be better off getting Argentina and Switzerland as subtrees to fill in their gaps until they get the Eurofighter as opposed to something ahistorical.

Belgium is part of the French tree now to the chagrin of those who care… it’s done and dusted. This is like me complaining that the IRIAF F-14 should be in the USSR tree (it should). Move on, lmao.

Also to add on to someones previous observation we wouldve had to wait 2 years and 5 months just for guided munitions as cas at top tier without the AJ

You have to be able to with this game, unfortunately.
If you were referencing Swiss F-18’s for Germany, it seems that’s likely coming in December. So, just take this update as another lump, find something you like about playing for the next few months, or don’t, and just go take a break.

Dutch “sub tree” is not getting anything past some Leopard 2s under AMX-40. The tree is full of vehicles and have no need or place for a sub tree.
The Benelux or whatever is just an excuse to dump Leopards as Gaijin is not modelling domestic French vehicles or planning to improve the Leclers
