Yes and no. Everyone else gets their Gripen C and can grind it ahead of time before fox 3s drop. Sweden will have to wait for their OWN domestic designed aircraft, grind it under fire of fox 3s, buy the aircraft, and grind the modules while everyone else is just one module away from their fox 3s.
The RB75 and AGM 65B are mostly (if not completely) identical, also since these small differences seem so important to you, the Gripen A gets rocket pods, which the C doesn’t.
In the end, the Paveways are the best choice for CAS with the Gripens anyways, both get them, both can use them in the same loadout
Sweden gets the first version of their early plane, like almost every single nation which manufactures their own equipment. Which won’t later get sent up to ARH BR whenever that happens and can continue to terrorise lower brs? This is somehow bad?
Ive had much better luck with the SAAf agms then the swedish. Perhaps just poor conditions but my luck has just been better playing britain when i do play cas. Ive had the RB 75 get close on a still target then just go 1 mile away and hit a bush lol.
They should have gotten it earlier alongside ADF, and then Gripen C when the UK got theirs.
The Gripen A and every other 12.3-12.7 aircrafts will be sucked up into the blackhole of fox 3 combat and constantly face uptier MMs, so that’s not accurate either.
If they move the new fox 3s to 13.3, Gripen A gets sucked up there. If they keep 12.7, Gripen A still gets sucked up and has to defend against fox 3s. So either way, neither situation is optimal for it.
I normally try to just boom in zoom with them but man i just love how they look. Kinda like the gr.1 looking better then the gr.3 harrier because it has such a goofy ahhh nose.
It must certainly should have, because what it has in flight performance is sacrificed in armaments. The Skyflash is nowhere on par with AIM-7M and R-27ER.
