This wasn’t about the F-16AJ. That is an entirely different subject that I would be willing to share my thoughts on, but not here.
I likely won’t continue the discussion of a German F-20 here anyway, as I said my part, and any more is going off topic.

For air yes for CAS no, but i was already done with britain and sweden were announced and the gripen A was only later made on par after the outcry. Besides sweden air has nothing for attention grabbers. Why grind trash dorito when you can play the goated mirage IIIE and so fourth. Besides other trees with the gripen have other fun vehicles with a lot of uniqueness. Britain, GR.7 my beloved,(hopefully atlas cheetah) and believe it or not i like the tornado, its bad but its cool. Or now i can play italy with f16, mig29, AV8B+ and gripen.
Isn’t JAS39A virtually identical to JAS39C at this point in the game?
Poor innocent Sweden with uhh checks notes the single most braindead and easy to play plane in top tier air realistic right now…

I mean on the bright side the Gripen won’t be quite so bonkers and the F-15A might get a nice buff.

Right now lol. Why is it a problem now when thisnhas been their only dominant fighter since they came out. Lets not forget the viggen C didnt go up unlike the ej kai and such because its a meh vehicle. A jack of all trades and master of none. Besides give it another ipdate and we’ll be back to america ruling the sky for 4 patches.

If you don’t like the mid tier swedish stuff, maybe the swedish tree just isn’t for you. Most trees share their planes with at least one other tree in some way or another.

Id prefer not. The AIDC F-5E occupys a decently important role in CAS for 10.7 China. Sure, a seperate event or premium def works.
Ok. Sweden is massively handheld in Ground RB for starters. Now they’re being massively handheld in air.
The game SHOULDN’T be some kind of merry-go-round where nations take turns in having incredibly easy vehicles which negate a lot of counterplay.
I’m principally opposed to this, wherever it arises.

Its was already passed for change to get the 2 additional middle pylons for bombs, besides agm 65 A is trash at 12.7 thats why i use the 2 1000lb paveways and agms on my SAAF gripen. Besides now ill have access to more stuff. Dont really care for cas tbh but still it’s a difference and ill keep pointing it out.

I agree, i dont care about top teir ground as much and i think sweden ground is super strong and very much the most dominant. But as i said earlier i main air. Besides i think the biggest problem with the gripen is the SEP it has and how the matches are for air. 16v16 is bad and the gripen is basically a f5 of toptier. Smaller teams with bigger maps would do some good. Alongside nerfing the SEP.
What did you switch to
Britain, i enjoyed the Jaguars and when the gr.7 came it just became more enjoyable as vtol aircraft are some of my favorite vehicles. So SAAF gripen on britain just made sense.
