SLM is much bigger than the normal one.
not by much, but yea
IRIS-T SLM its a bit bigger than the IRIS-T, it was modified so it dosent lose range from the ground and in fact has more range than a normal IRIS-T due to the fact it was equipped with a radar head too that separates from the main head when its near its target and the IR head does the rest the
IRIS-T 2936 mm
IRIS-T SLM 2946 mm
biggest changes from Normal to SLM were did to the seeker
datalink
new shape of the seekertip
etc
yeah basically instead of pure acceleration like the IRIS-T it has less acceleration but bigger range and better guidance devices for longer ranges
Would it be fair to say Derby does 50G combined plane?
oh haha you are gonna love the brazilean F-5EM with Derbys and Python-4 hahaha
The fact that it’s a prototype kinda gives Gaijin an opportunity to balance as they see fit. It would also be a much sought after vehicle. Kinda feel they should’ve saved the Yak-141 for this.
Still waiting for R-73s for the yak. Getting them and raising its br to 12.3 may make sense.
Alternatively receiving R-77s in the FOX3 update with the SMT.
Still waiting for my J-10a -_- no way I am using a J8F against F16s and Migs
I’ll use an ARH J-8 against gen 4’s…if it’s a premium.
Why can’t the Chinese Su-27 carry them actually?
J-10 for China and F-16I for Israel
Base J-11 can’t carry it allegedly.
The J-11 is just a license assembled Su-27SK, which is an export Su-27S. The J-11A is a fully license produced one, and the J-11B is the first upgrade, with it having a Chinese radar, avionics, weaponry, and a bunch of other things, and is the first variant that can use ARH missiles.
Its the first variant. It is not fox 3 cap
J-11B wont come for a bit
I am aware.
J-10a is what I see in soon
In the second half of this year, I reckon.
hopefully
