french tech good? no no

Python 5s seeker technology is alien technology to MICA IR

Now you are just taking the piss

If the launching platform is making use of the LOAL capability it can qualify as a BVRAAM, but that doesn’t turn it into a ARH. It’s still IR homing.

They have it with their Radar missiles already, (the R-27ER) but not guidance assistance for IR missiles as far as I’m aware

so datalink helps with range too, ok

Yeah, French tech bad, that’s so bad it’s the second tech in the market after the USA in 2023, and for years it was the 3rd tech in the sells after USA and Russia.

No. Data link helps with providing data.

A better propellant helps with range.

PL-9C is a upgrade over the PL-9. It gets dual band seeker with 40g overload but the issue is PL-9C is mostly used by export jets.

plus i didnt even say python 5 is literally an ARH, i meant that its closer to being an ARH as of range than a normal IR like AIM9M for example

That’s the whole reason there’s LOAL tech right? Lmao

i have no idea what that means

Lock on after launch

Fire missile with no lock, guide missile to target so it can gets a IR lock when its within range.

R-27ER in game has this capability if I’m not mistaken

but i meant that the intensity of 2 radars can increase range but also help an advanced missile like python 5 to have a bigger range of guidance

you have no clue what data link is

those people were sayint that whatever R27 version could have data link in game

Yep mentioned this a minute or too ago myself, but we don’t have any IR missiles with this capability yet if I’m not mistaken…

it literally means that, you dont know

datalink exists in multiple variations

All IR missiles in game require a proper lock before launch
