Only in VL which is vertical launch. The MICAs are 20km in vertical launch while MICA NGs are 40km in vertical launch. Double the range while launched from ground. In the air, MICA EM went from 80km to 130km, about a 66% range increase.
So in vertical launch, MICA NG has a 100% increase in range. In the air, 66% increase in range.
I’m not doubting your claim, I’m just asking for a source to present it to someone who had assured me it was 50G.

The current range of MICA-EM is 80km from an aircraft(MICA-IR 60km)
The NG program is to add about 20km (to push the range), of both AIR MICA-EM and MICA-IR
So VL-MICA will benefit from it, but it’s actual official range is about 20km of interception range(VL MICA MBDA DATASHEET).
So,… even with a VL MICA NG, the range would not be extended to 4 times the current for VL variant.
However, for air variants, the objectives are:
MICA NG EM : 80km → 100km
MICA NG IR : 60km → 80km

Not true. They add 20km to VL MICA for 40km

MICA NG EM (surface launched): 20km → 40km
MICA NG EM (air): 80km → 130km
Sources are prepared ahead of time for MICA NGs to be properly modeled.
MICA NG IR will be 60km → 100km

In my view, I guess gajin could add I-Derby basic after second major update of this year but for I-Derby ER in the far future
