im hoping gaijin fixes the armour of the challenger 3 as right now its kinda dumb that most nations are getting an increase to their protections while the chally 3 went up in weight for armour it didnt get because “well we don’t know the exact amount it increased by”

Well, the one we have is the 2019 one, so no increase in armor. But it weight should go down to the 62.5t. I reported it, we will se if it will go anywhere

yeah that is my point, that right now it is literally 3 and half tons heavier then it should be which could actually effect its power per ton ratio a decent bit
the engine is also the 6a in the dev, not the 9a as it should be? unless that’s a further development and not the 2019 one

Basically, you either have:
Increased armor and weight.
Or
No extra armor nor extra weight.
Extra weight with no extra armor makes no sense!

Since Gaijin is so cooperative now, can someone make a bug report in regards to the Challenger 2 and 3 series having extremely inconsistent glacis armor (and always on the low side)? They struggle to reach 500mm KE on the right hull cheek for some reason, the central section is missing an armor plate that greatly reduces its effectiveness compared to the sponson sections…
Also about the sides, which have been measured to be 50mm thick and not 38.1.

I might try something tomorrow. I do not have the strenght toady. I threw around English, German Russian and even Chinese sides of the internet to find something that states that Cr3 2019 does not get weight increase, and all i have is a single manufacturer statement. That should be enough, right? WRONG! It is on a recording so it is automaticly less viable.
