Just because it gets leeway now doesnt mean it will with ARHs
and why not? gaijin have already stated that they are going with what the plane could mount not what was actually mounted on it, so when AIM-120s come it will get them as the C variant can mount them
Thats fair but still Britain already has 1 platform capable albeit not a great one and theres still the FA.2 which again not gonna be amazing but like I said just because it is now doesnt mean much

Meteor is made by MBDA which is AirBus, BAE and Leonardo. So I guess no Meteor for German Typhoons either
I believe IRIS-T is its only AAM at the moment, with A-Darter planned for the future

im not gonna lie here if other nations get AMRAAMs on things like gripens, F16s and F15s and the uk gets stuck with a tornado or a FA2 wtf

Yeah it will suck if it happens, I think the SAAF Gripen should get em but it might not
Yeah, I give it a 50/50 chance for SAAF Gripen C to get AMRAAM in the future. Where Sweden is 100%
Britain does have alternatives for it, but they may choose to upgrade our Gripen over adding the Typhoon.

If the Sea Harrier FA2 gets it as one of the first aircraft with it, then it will be really fun. But it wouldnt last long. The moment Gen 4s got it, it would begin to struggle. (FA2 does have a truly insane radar) But im hoping by that point, we’d be in Early Typhoons instead

ehhh i doubt it as gaijin have stated we are no where near typhoons in warthunder
My best guess:
March: Sea Harrier FA2 and/or Tornado F3 AoP as early adopters of ARH
June: More general roll out of ARH to Gen 4s (Gripen C upgrade possibly here)
September: Typhoon DA2.

Apparently idk where but it was said or “leaked” that the Rafale is supposedly planned for early next year
If Rafale gets added, then Typhoon should be the same update or not far behind. 4k is not far off already if im not mistaken to the kind of performance that those early version would offer

Afaik the Euro-Canards all offer very similar flight preformance so since Gripen is here I see no reason as to why we cant get Rafale AND Typhoon imo
They do have more powerful radars and engines, and have 10-12 A2A hardpoints. The US and USSR mains would complain too hard if they were added to soon
yeah if the french get the refale i see no reason why we cant get the eurofighter we should make the germans wait a patch to get it because seeing them get super upset when they arent top dog is pretty funny
