Being a Populus Romanus in video games is always honorable.(I have zero idea about latin)
As something of an Italy main myself, Italy did get a lot this year. (A whole hungarian subtree + more)
Of course it’d suck to not get anything at all this update, but even then Italy is far from screwed IMO.

Damage is really low due to it being sucha small caliber but yeah. Playing Sweden at low tier straight up hurts because theres no difference in armarment since like 1.0 up to like 3.3

Nah that is just a money pig for them.
Just look at Sweden ether they have stuff with small guns but a ton of them,
Or One huge massive one with a lot of pen.
Like I dont see much reason why chose something over 1.0 reserve one with both APDS and good reverse unlike bigger BR ones.

Probably should have just gotten Aim-9L/I for their F-16s. Kept them going. With that (or something like a Hungarian Gripen C) it would have been the first time in years, that all 10 nations were equally competitive at top tier.

Im guessing 1.1-1.3 mil + 300k ish for crew. Im farming SLs now. I want to expert the Gripen C pretty quickly. So thats another 1.1-1.3 mil

Giving AIM-9M to Gripen does set a precedent that allows for ahistorical but technically possible loadouts, if neccesary for gameplay and balance purposes.
So in that case, yeah, AIM-9L/I would be a good stopgap until Italy can get something better.
