Exactly. It is because people does not understand each others’ playstyles and consider them heretic. Italy and Japan requires immensely different playstyle and it is considered heretic by other mains. It does require a bit more skill but honely just enough map knowledge gets a long way. I am not Italian, I am Chinese and I study in the UK. I am more interested in Italy because of the common “Mental Roman” and assossiated meme cultures in Chinese memes. I do very much enjoy the playstyle of taking enemy by surprise and outsmarting the enemy while beating them in inferior vehicles. Unfortunately I am still not doing too good.

People want braindead point click gameplay. (Even though I normally watch things as I play and game volume around 20%.) Playing Italy and being good and doing well has vastly more to do with the player’s skill and the team. Far too many matches am I last alive with plenty of vehicles to spawn in and my team is already out. I have long played the Ariete like it doesn’t have armor, and I still perform well in it. People who bandwagon “Italy bad” is because they are players who never want to play any other nations than the one they invested time into. Sure, could be some racism from others (I’ve encountered it), but many seemingly enjoy hating just to hate, and it makes this community rather toxic.
I’ve got the Title Maestro, and it isn’t going to be changed. (Sometimes I change it up a little but always back to Maestro.)
I think the addition of the LM (the Lamborghini with guns) would attract a ton of people to the Italian tech tree purely because of Lamborghini fanboys. And who knows, might actually make players have to learn new play styles.
I can see why you argue so and I do not think this line of analysis is bad or incorrect. Gaijin do have to take the majority of responsibilities. However.
I play sens, brava, flores, thunderbird and warden in siege. Only a few of them are competitive, yet I still had a lot of fun. I main crypto, loba and rampart in APEX legends, by the time I quit they were still being called bottom tier, and still found quite a lot of wins with them. These game are a lot more competitive than warthunder(well, they are FPS after all), and I dont even have 1KD in these games. Players needs to think differently and they will find a lot of fun themselves as well.

I don’t agree with your comment. Simply because the armor isn’t the best, or greatest this, is complete BS. How do I consistently out compete most of my team when I am one of maybe two or three people in the match playing Italy? This is a history game first and foremost, the “competitive” aspect stems from player skill and ability, equipment can only do so much to compensate your lack of skill. There is a reason “eSports Ready” has been a running meme for so long.
I don’t watch shows in the other monitor while playing Rainbow 6 Siege, but I do with War Thunder. I’ve played for years like this and probably hundreds of hours without any in-game volume and still perform well. LMAO War Thunder will never be the same level of intense competitiveness that Rainbow 6 Siege is at, because they are simply two separate games. A tank game has far more strategy involved than simply run forward and shoot. If Gaijin did War Thunder purely based out of competitiveness, then like half of what is in the game wouldn’t be in it, but it is. You get stuff like the Pages of History, that has nothing to do with being competitive, because the game is history oriented with a competitive aspect in that it is PvP.

Does those characters require the same ammount of time and dedication to obtain than grinding a whole new tech tree?

Okay, and? I still manage, because simply being in the best armored and best gunned vehicle in the game doesn’t make you invincible nor does it compensate for lack of player skill.
Additionally, the Ariete’s current armor and WAR kit has value/model/implementation issues, where there is a current report pending being assigned tags for it to be fixed. Does it make it the best? No, but even small improvements have big affects. The only people I have see complain like you are doing here is something I never see from Italian players, but primarily from people who like dog piling on the bandwagon of “ItAly bAd”. And TBH, IMO you kinda being toxic about it.

I don’t care what you think. Is still a 10.0 armor on veichle with mediocre mobility and those are objective reality. An ariete amv isn’t on par with a Leopard 2a6/T80BVM.
Ariete have to aim for weak spots, while the other tank can just point click you without even need to aim
Honestly i don’t trist gaijin to fix the warkit in my lifespan. Not after an argument in the old forum with a certain “manager”
