I have a wargame player friend and he played at least more than a handful games of Israel in wargame(wonder why, they are absolutely broken and its my most played nato faction), yet the other day he is still unsure if he is safe to B-Z an ayit in his MiG-21MF(He’s Polish so id assume hes proud to fly that).

Yeah. To keep it to the topic though, I am very intrigued by the fact that there are no LAHAT-launching merkavas in war thunder. I do understand that SPIKE NLOS is hard to both code and balance, but I suppose LAHAT won’t change much when Israel has a good APFSDS.

They said that the HuAF subtree is not ready yet. However there is a Hungarian Su-22M4 lying in the game file somewhere. Might be a skin, might be a squadron vehicle.
I’m not sure how correct this is but doesn’t LAHAT have more guidance modes besides the traditional SACLOS guidance like a 9M119?
The L stands for both Laser and the situation of the Israeli ground forces tree. Yes it is SALH guided, but from my research guiding by itself or from another laser source are the only option.

Yes. Considering Merkava 4s has a better APFSDS than the other 2 major user of GLATGM, Russia and China, it will see little use in the game however. APFSDS is still preferred 90% of the time.
At the same time, I am interested to see the falaric 105 being applied to more tanks. As of right now the round is only operated by Finland and due to the war going on(well, its made by Ukraine) there will be no customers in the short time, but in theory it is able to be intergrated to other cockerill 90/105/120mm platforms as well. Its performance in WT is pretty good.

What do you mean “already”? This isn’t any earlier than a lot are released.
This is the last top tier vehicle dev released as of tanks. Unless the centauro 2 is coming but it is likely to come without a dev, if it is coming all.
So why is it releasing now unusual?
The Leopard 2A7V in the dev server was completly wrong. Ignoring that we only ever saw it in purple. They crossly gave it wrong armor values. From an old swedish trial where the leo 2a7v didnt even exist yet. To giant holes in the turret model where every shoot went trough.
A pure joke that they gave the Strv122 still better internal armor then the 2A7V
