I don’t think an entire non-rigid coating over the crew compartment would be “destroyed” across the board after having a 30mm diameter hole punch through it!
Maybe if they implement it in a segmented way, kinda like ERA, it could make sense… but having the entire coating be destroyed after being hit once? Not really.

Sorry to ping but are there any changes coming to the instructor?
For a long time now I felt like it was limiting our capacity for maneuvers that are more aerobatic in nature than practical. In full real controls it’s still there, even if in limited authority only.

If I turn it off there it switches me to “Realistic controls”,
also as I said, even when it shows it’s turned off it’s still there in some part. That maneuver I did was in “Full-real controls”.
