The zoom isn’t even better its the fov
I know, but we are also talking about how thermals is an important part of the optic to consider
It is if has better fov but worsr thermals then its worse
With a tank like the CR2, where you have to be very very accurate, and with both tanks having identical zooms. The important difference is then Thermals

mbt wise yes, and thats only true if its the 2a7v. germany has its weaknesses besides that as well, i am not saying other nations have it better, but germany fell behind the “meta” in multiple other areas as well.
Its definitly worsen the USSR at the least when talking about his list
USSR strength isn’t that everything they have is the best its that everything they have is soild heils tanks ifv planes for air to air and cas so yeah they are definitely better then Germany i agree

Yep, when taken as a whole. USSR is by far the strongest nation. When looked at in a 1 on 1 comparison. They dont look as strong

best example is SPAA area, while israel and italy definitly need a top tier SAM system, (japan only needs access to the radar missles now).
US and UK have their ADATS, and while yes it sucks that they have increased spawn points and need a dedicated SPAA i am not sure if i specialy would call them worse the Flarakrad which is definitly the worse out of all “modern” spaa system, ITO 90M (acknowledged ACLOS report now), Pantsir and Tor-M1
I dont have the ADATS yet, but from what I understand is that it’s mediocre at best as SPAA (usable, but not great) but as an ATGM it sucks as its missing Tandem charge or something. So its advertised as a 2in1 vehicle, but isnt “good” at either. A proper proper SPAA system like the Rapier, might just be more consistant

u realy are uncapable about reading the context, its specific to the message i answered and the list he made. Besides that nothing of german ground is meta. Strv 122 are all better then 2a5s sweden has the 2a6 as well. Puma has no atgms, and the flarakrad is mid as well. While yes it is better then other nations.
It doesnt better or compare overall to US, USSR and Sweden

I’ve also heard the ADATS is in a bad shape. Which is funny considering the ADATS was actively used by our armed forces so it shouldn’t be trash. Like I said before they wanted to replicate our tanks with the system on a LAV and a few other LAV-based things.
And for the Cold War air defence had to be good it was Canada’s air space things would fly over if it was to hit the US.

That is just Gaijin being Gaijin. Making a good irl working things not work at all (like stingers and mistral) and other that were a total failiur work like Sargent York (from which i heared that during development it was failure after failure)

Yeah its kinda mid but they should just make it a SPAA no one gonna got use it as a ATGM launcher as its not effective
