Major Update “Air Superiority” - Rumor Round-Up and Discussion (Part 3)

2nd shot kills it, cause all top reloads are faster than the fastest repair speed of 12 seconds with an aced crew which “no one” has.

Doesn’t matter. Rolands are more than good enough to shoot you down. I know this because I still get splashed all the time.

And then there are the ERA blocks that will just comsume your whole round

Volumetric is what makes it not as bad

The AJS is significantly worse then the Frogfoot, hell I USE the Frog at top tier and always bag at least 4 kills not to mention its superior A2A and CM

it is more likely that you get hit by stingers then by rolands lol

Yep, even though shells like L27A1 are designed to counter

You can genuinely kill 1-2 crew and take the breach with such roof shots.

Then SPAA has a skill issue, cause Su-25’s slow speed & 10km maximum standoff range means it’s objectively the easiest to kill.
Whereas all supersonic jets have 6km altitudes that prevent SPAA from tracking them.

They are, but Gaijin dont care

Tbh, Ozelot/LAV-AD are my usual nemesis, Rolands are the ones that get me when I’m up high, not stingers. Easier to dodge/flare stingers too.

and when you are in a glass cannon like the how they’ve modeled the CR2s, it would be nice to have at least the cannon part, at the moment we are just glass. Why I reckon the Premium CR2 will be DOA and wont sell

USSR has no good targeting pod, and none of it is all weather, so even if you try, you have to have ideal conditions.

Sorry everyone. Su-25 family is definietly good, but it’s not objectively better than all the other CAS you have available. It’s just different.

its rare that i see su 25 even fly high, since most use dumb rockets, guided is mostly needed when using guided ammunition

Not according to what I am reading. Yes there was a designated storage area for 12 rounds of APFSDS. The 12 round limit comes from 3 in the ready rack and 9 in reserve. However, there is no limitation to carrying more APFSDS in the rack next to the driver. Much like the SIDAM could carry more APDS, but doctrine limitations, not actual physical limitations. So in reality the OTO could be fully loaded with APFSDS, but doctrine. It could be argued to do away with the doctrine or to relax it a bit given the 2S38 in game.

So @Smin1080p if the premium tornado IDS receives the ordnance and performance it does at 10.7/11.0 ( it doesn’t matter which of the two) then SURELY will the devs give the A-7E it’s Mavericks and AIM-9Ls right?
The Tornado has better speed, better energy retention and same if not better payload than the A-7E, which is STILL the highest american strike jet ( no, other branches do not count, sorry). And no, Waleyes and “other attack jets in the US tree ( cope statement anyway)” do not count for setting up an excuse.

Challenger 2’s fundamental flaw is the Challenger 2 tank. With the exception of the Chobham armor, its movement lags behind Leopard 2 and M1, the driver can be easily shot, ammunition penetration does not reach 600mm. What can I say about this? It’s not for nothing that they make Challenger 3 and they no longer manufacture 120mm L30A1 ammunition, this is one of the reasons why they replace this German RH-120-l55a1. I hope it will be more mobile than the Challenger 3. 90-100km/h is planned.

the tornado has only dumb bombs, it is copy paste MFG, mavericks are another matter those are guided

I get blasted often enough by soft locked phoenixes even at supposedly safe ground clutter altitudes, clearly at least some F-14 pilots have the required skills.

I usually take four FAB-500’s and 4 S-25O’s and stay low, sweep around behind ground spawn and try to neutralize AA first.

But if the targeting on the K wasn’t so gimped, I’d be maining the Kh-29’s and lasering people.
