They seem to do better reverse speed and actual neutral steering on light vehicles mostly.
IMO the only things that matter are firepower, protection and reverse speed.
I would argue gen 3 gunner thermals matter a lot, besides that engine does include reverse speed
Would honestly be the best way to have the LEP somewhat matter at rank VIII, otherwise it would pretty much just be a straight up worse tank than the other new 120mm armed MBTs.
Not really.
What difference does it make to have 750mm KE or 800mm KE… when no shell can go through either anyway?
Gameplay wise, it’s the same.
Not in terms of armor.
Literally every top tier tank can pen the upgraded base armor of the A7V after the addon has been knocked off so it doesn’t matter if its a Strv 122 or 2A7V unless you are playing a T-80U AND the addon armor has been destroyed already.
When is todays blog expected to drop? couple hours?
This. Depending on how they implement it, it’s a new super tank added without counterparts.
I’m not against the 2A7V or Germany getting a new MBT that can compete with the Strv 122. I’m against adding a tank that is straight up better than all counterparts added in the same update.
Which doesn’t matter.
This isn’t real-life money limitations.
Yeah that what im thinking but the German would have to have the round at same time or riots that why i see the Leopard 2A7V coming along with it
Two tanks with the new gun
the counterpart, as it often is, is aloft in the air.
Seems to be about 52t fully equipped.
Ok… It still doesn’t change the fact the BVM is still better than the T-90M…
As has been stated multiple times the T-90M is a fatter T-72B3 with a better turret and a CITV, It’s not going to be better, it’s certainly not going to be a bad tank either but it’s definitely nothing special or worth getting worked up over…
21,7 hp/t oof.
You have to keep in account that its not gonna be penetrated to the hull the same way T-72B3M is or will be, due to Relikt being installed instead of Konkakt-5.
yet tell me why it caused such an outrage and how it would break the game back then lol
Many myths, etc.
It is in the sense that it combines the best firepower (in Theory since L55 offers no advantage in game over L44), “best” armor and the best thermals yes.
A true “super” tank is imo still the BVM because it’s incredibly mobile, has the same gun handling as the Leo (best for any MBT) which it shouldn’t actually, better thermals than it should, Relict (RNGsus decides what happens with your round) and survives shots it shouldn’t far more often than other tanks.
Sorry for maybe misunderstanding, but do you mean that the counterpart is still up in the air (undecided) or that the counterpart is a plane?
I would hate the latter, I’m a tank player. I don’t want to have to resort to a CAS plane because my tank is shit compared to what should be an equivalent tank.
The Strv 122 has better hull armour than the 2A6 (D-Tech/MEXAS-H vs C-Tech). The 2A6EX (PSO uses the same hull) was advertised with even better armour than the Strv 122. The 2E and 2A6HEL, which are based on the 2A6EX, have “modern armour” according to Frank Lobitz.
The 2A7V has even better armour, bringing the hull on par with the turret. This new armour can be identified by the different mountings of the upper UFP add-on.
