M6a1

No way it’s equal to the Tiger at 5.7.

The Tiger E does not have any armor upgrades the only thing that changes is the better placed cupola.

You’re assuming the T1E1 would get APCR, which isn’t guaranteed.

The Tiger E has better turret armor, better AP, large filler AP and smoke.

Yes that’s why it’s 5.7 not 5.3 like the Tiger H1

If it didn’t get APCR it’d still necessitate an increase to 5.3 minimum

It’d serve the American tree better to be reduced to 4.7 to allow the Americans a fuller lineup there

Mantlet and lower front plate are superior to the Tiger H1.

Amazing. Almost like you can do that with every vehicle. Which doesn’t change that a faster traverse is still better, not to mention that sometimes you want your turret and hull pointed in different directions.

xD Oh damn…

Not every vehicle has the horsepower / weight ratio to turn quickly, the Panther does

truly unjustified

Welp, I cant do anything about it…

Either ways Tiger1, panthers and lots are moving up.

And they still won’t be pleased about facing them lol…

Snails, so what is the thickness of the armor at this point? 100 mm or still 30 mm?)))

Some of the vehicles the M6 will face if it gets moved to 4.7:

All I’m saying is that it will be pretty unfair if it gets moved down in br. I still hate playing the M6/T1 though. It’s clunky, big and the shermans can do a better job overall.

One major downside of the T1/M6 in my experience is their general armour style/layout for a “heavy tank”
There are just so many random frontal protruding weak spots (front sides, machine gun port, gunner/driver optics, mantlet area around the gun) and it is also gigantic as a tank in profile.

All you can really hope for is for volumetric + a large number of crew to survive some lucky shots against most tank guns you face at its BR

Other than that the gyrostabilizer, speed and main gun on it are fantastic to use.
