Is this thing any good? I hadn’t played this br much and considered adding a backup/companion for T77E1.
Don’t have it, but 6 pounder is an excellent gun, test to see if you think mobility and handling are acceptable.
Looks like it has single plane stab, yesterday a KV-7 camp our spawn and killed 9, like nobody could stop it, hopefully this thing could.
Yes. Fast reload+good armour+enough penetration.
Only issue is the post pen against Russian tanks is awful, and guess what the most common enemies are (russian tanks). I’d play it much more if I wasn’t guaranteed to fight Russia at 3.7.
It’s incredibly good against panzers tho.

The Ram II is an excellent tank and a lovely addition to the US 3.7 line-up.
As pointed out Russian tanks are the last tank you want to fight with it.
as for it armour it used to be really good but I have found it to not be able to take as many hits as it used to.
Yeah, it’s pretty fun to play. Goofy armor and a pretty damn good gun along with a nice reload rate
Yes, it’s a right old hoot. Middling but fun for its BR.
I enjoy it so much, I bought it for my Brit tree as well.
It’s like a Sherman with a more nuanced play style, to be honest.
As others have said it’s an excellent vehicle. High penetration, great armour, decent mobility, fast reload, and a stabilizer. The one drawback is the lack of explosive filler. So make sure to aim your first shot carefully to disable the enemy, then finish them off with a follow-up shot
